Jennifer Probst has done it again! She continues to deliver incredibly written love stories. I absolutely loved The Marriage Mistake by Jennifer Probst, it is an incredible love story, and is the third book in her Marriage to a Billionaire series. I have loved every book in the series and am looking forward to reading the other books in the Marriage to a Billionaire series. I have read other books by Jennifer Probst and always enjoy her wonderfully written love stories. Jennifer Probst has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. I could not put The Marriage Mistake down. I loved every moment on every page. I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. The Marriage Mistake is wonderful love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud and the bittersweet moments that pull at my heartstrings and cause me to sigh, as I read the heartbreaking moments. The Marriage Mistake is filled with such moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a Jennifer Probst love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. One of my favorite parts is how Jennifer Probst incorporates the title of the book into the love story. Who doesn’t love a best friends little sister love story? The Marriage Mistake is the story of Carina Conte, youngest sister of Michael and billionaire Maximus “Max” Gray, best friend of Michael who helps him run La Dolce Maggie. Carina moves to New York from Italy, to be Max’s assistant at La Dolce Maggie, so that she can learn how to run the family business. Carina has always had a crush on Max, but feels that between their age difference and Max feeling like she is his little sister, nothing will develop. Following the same course as Alexa and Maggie, Carina also casts a love spell to Earth Mother. As Carina and Max work together, Max sees the changes in Carina and realizes that she is no longer a little girl. As Carina and Max spend time together at La Dolce Maggie, they share secrets with one another and they grow closer. Max discloses how the abandonment by his father has impacted his life and the life of his mother. Max and Carina head to Las Vegas on business, and decide to have a one-night-stand to get their feelings for one another out of their systems. Mama Conte arrives at Carina’s hotel room the following morning and recommends that Max and Carina get married. Being married to Max on these terms was never Carina’s dream for her happily ever. I love that both Max and Carina show their vulnerable sides and that each of them changed because of their feelings for one another. Then and unexpected plot twist changes everything for them. I love Carina’s heart to heart conversation that she had with her mother, that made her realize that she had to make changes inside herself, before she could be worthy to love Max. I love the changes that she made within herself, and how she revealed them to Max. I loved that The Marriage Mistake is a more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Carina and Max are facing that need to be resolved. I love how all the storylines get resolved so incredibly. The Marriage Mistake is filled with the poignant and bittersweet moments, as well as the plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in Jennifer Probst’s stories. I love the ending of the story and the touching gift that Max gave to Carina. I loved the epilogue and how Carina reveals that she also cast a love spell to Earth Mother and only wrote Max’s name on her list. I love that Alexa, Maggie, and Carina discuss what to do with the love spells book, they decide that Carina should take it back to Italy when she and Max’ return and somehow give it to her sister, Julietta. I love how the love spells book has tied all the stories in the series together. I am so glad that Carina got the happily ever after with Max, and that she trusted his feelings for her. I love all the changes that both Carina and Max were willing to make in their lives and their amazing chemistry. I love the cast of characters in The Marriage Mistake and loved catching up with other characters in the series it felt like getting together with good friends, especially with all the changes that took place in the lives of Alexa and Nick, and Maggie and Michael. I am looking forward to reading the remaining books in the series. Who doesn’t love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? I thoroughly enjoyed The Marriage Mistake; I highly recommend this wonderful romance.

I liked this one more than the last one, but not as much as the first one. Max isn’t as bad as Michael, but he’s still no picnic. I just can’t get behind the overbearing stuff being portrayed as an endearing trait. Also I do struggle when a book tries to portray what it’s like to work in business and just gets so much wrong. But overall, this was enjoyable even with my gripes.
