The book was okay. To be honest throughout most of the first half I was bored. There were a lot of plot twists and for that it kept me going. The characters were well fleshed-out but the story just didn’t feel original.
One of the best I have read lately. Characters were real, complicated, and you wanted to help them.
This was a great read, another one of those books. Where I totally broke my rule of how much time I would spend reading per day. I was hooked from the first few pages. This author reeled me in, and the story was very compelling. You wanted to understand really understand why the lies.
Definitely keeps you guessing. I read this book in one day, could not put it down.
Disappointed at the ending, I enjoyed it up till then
Interesting story, and kept me reading!
It’s been a little while so I can’t rmem why it was 3 , other than I don’t remember it. It was predictable, but still entertaining enough to finish.
Couldn’t get enough of this book! I plan to read other books by this author. I thoroughly enjoyed reading The Marriage Lie.
A well written thriller: fast paced, great plot, interesting characters and more twists than expected. I couldn’t wait to finish it, and the surprise ending remains on my mind.
Caught up in it from the beginning. Great read.
Great read with an ending you only think you’ve guessed!
This book was a TRUE did he or didn’t he. I loved every new turn it took. It’s plausible and the characters are believable. The best I’ve read in a very long time.
I loved this book. Loved the metaphors, thought it well-written. Great believable dialogue – the ending was absolutely perfect. Have recommended this book to many.
This page turner kept me wanting guessing until the very end
Loved this book. I couldn’t wait to get back to it. Have already recommended it to several people.
An emotional roller-coaster that keeps you wondering right up to the last paragraph.
I’m a widow, but I got to see my dead husband, thereby not having any doubts about his death. Nevertheless, I had nightmares for at least a year about my husband coming back but not telling me why he left and where he was. I can somehow identify with Iris and this story deeply affected me. Great story, great writing!
Compelling read that grabbed me pretty quickly and wouldn’t let me go until I was finished with it! Anyone who is looking for a page-turner will enjoy this read!
This book worked on my emotions. I thought the ending was surprisingly good.
