LOVED THIS! The ending was phenomenal! I thought it was headed one way and then it whiplashed me with an ending that put the heroine on my list of all time favorites.
I couldn’t put it down. I read it in the middle of the night. love it!
My first book by Kimberly Belle and it was a doozy! I didn’t want to stop reading for anything. Even working it only took me two days. There were so many twists and turns that I never saw coming. And the ending……..oh man…….just the best! Highly recommend!
I was hooked right from the start and the mystery and tension just kept building. Didn’t see that ending coming either. The only weakness I found in the storyline was the character’s initial reason for doing the deed in the first place.
Exquisite writing. Unbelievable misdirection throughout – all the way to the very last line.
An amazing psychological thriller that was full of surprises!
My second book by Belle and another hit! I didn’t enjoy it as much as “Dear Wife”, but I have “Dear Wife” so high up on a pedestal, it’s hard to match!
The blurb on this one sounded interesting, but I put off reading it…thinking it was a typical domestic thriller. Then I read “Dear Wife” and absolutely loved Belle’s writing, and an opportunity for a Buddy Read came up and I love those!
Iris is shattered when she receives a call telling her that her husband was on a flight to Seattle that crashed…with no survivors. He was scheduled to fly to Orlando for a work conference, so she refuses to believe the news and starts her own investigation. She finds a dark side to Will, and so many lies. And realizes that Will wasn’t the person she thought she married.
“There’s a sucker born every minute out of heartache.”
One of my favorite characters was Iris’s brother. He was so devoted and witty. Iris could be a little over-the-top at times. But hey…she unexpectedly lost her husband, then found out everything he told her was a lie! I think I’d be pretty angry and emotional, too.
This book kept surprising me. Even the ending was a shocker. Totally enjoyable!!

Absolutely loved this story. If you want to disappear into a book for a couple of days, and aren’t afraid of big emotions and dramatic twists, this is the book for you.
I had trouble putting this book down! There were so many twists and turns, and the ending left me stunned. A great read.
I just love this book! It has the greatest twists and turns I didn’t see coming, right up until the end. Belle has a real talent of writing such intriguing mysteries/thrillers. She has become one of my favorite authors!
This whole book was a whirlwind of surprise and intrigue. I went from loving to hating the husband and felt for each character. Kimberly Belle did an excellent job of twisting things around so the end result wasn’t easy to figure out. Even to the last page, I was continually feeling shocked.
To say this was a suspenseful page-turner is an understatement. I finished this book in less than 24 hours. I was already a fan of Kimberly Belle after reading Three Days Missing. This novel of domestic suspense is a must read! Iris and Will have the perfect loving marriage that is until the day Will leaves on a business trip and Iris’ world is turned upside down. Iris finds she can’t take anything she knew about Will at face value. You won’t want to put this one down!
I really loved this book and the writing was wonderful. When she describes grief I ended up crying

MY REVIEW
When I started reading this suspenseful, emotionally gripping novel I couldn’t get enough of it. It was a thrilling read.It does kind of stall out 60 % into the book for just a little while then it picks back up. So keep reading. Trust me you will be glad you did. I can totally see this as a lifetime movie. The one thing i did find annoying through the whole book was Iris’s sensitive stomach and all the different ways to describe it. Her “flipping upside down”, “twisting”, “a quivering ache”, “doing somersaults”, “swallow down a surge of sick”, “A wave of sick rolls over in my stomach”. And then there is “A spiky ball of nausea in my stomach”. Etc, etc. And then there is the fact she thinks she’s pregnant with her dead husbands child yet she never eats and drinks every chance she gets. Other than that the book was amazing. This was my second book by this author and will not be my last. My first book was Three days Missing. If you have not read that one you need to.
Will and Iris seemed to have the perfect life. Then Iris’s life as she knows it comes crumbling down when Will’s plane crashes. But Will was not suppose to be on that plane . Why would he lie about where he was going ? Buckle up cause you are going on a crazy ride with Iris who is stricken with grief to look for answers. First thing she finds out rocks her to the core and makes her wonder if everything about their whole marriage is a lie. The twist and turns will keep you turning the pages and wondering is he or isn’t he dead. And the ending will be so much of a suprise that it will leave your mouth hanging open.
I cannot recommend this book enough! I devoured it.
Best book I have ever read I refer it to everyone!!!!
Pretty good book and good mystery element. Worth the read but nothing I’d ever read again.
Good story and that ending!!! OMG!!! At first, I thought this story was going to be like that Harrison Ford movie where his wife is killed in a plane crash with her lover. Glad I was sooo wrong.
Loved this book but…….. spoiler alert ! Not sure I loved the ending but realize there might not be any other way to end it ! Highly recommend reading it. Looking forward to reading more by this author!
I enjoyed reading this book. It was not predictable and kept me guessing.
A wonderful book from a favorite author.
