I fell in love with a man who broke my heart and ran to another man who broke my spirit.Ethan Blackwood. Cold. Heartless. Rich. A man with an inexhaustible bank account and zero conscience. He’s my fiancé and my nightmare.I’m stuck with him. Until my lover from five years ago, Graham Hawthorne, returns with a shocking claim: We’re married.Graham stole my attention with a half-cocked smirk and his … my attention with a half-cocked smirk and his stunning looks. He’s every bit the gorgeous Viking, minus the sweetness. He wants me back. For good.
But Ethan refuses to let me go. Instead he’s declaring war, the winner taking all.
I’m supposed to choose. My lover or my captor? Heaven or Hell?
I thought I could handle their bitter battle over me…until I discovered their decades-long secret that’ll destroy us all.
Author’s note: This is dark, steamy enemies-to-lovers romance between a possessive billionaire and a former lover, who is engaged to his rival. Full-length standalone. If you love over the top bad boys, you’ll love this book!

Naomi despises her fiancé. Too bad she has to stay engaged to him for her sick father’s sake. But then, the man who broke her heart shows up and says he and Naomi are still married, and he’s come to claim her. Um…what?!
I felt really badly for Naomi. She was definitely a pawn in Graham and Ethan’s sick game of one-upmanship and vengeance, and she didn’t deserve it. In fact, I don’t think either of them was good enough for her, they definitely didn’t deserve her. But if she had to choose one, I guess she picked the lesser of two evils. I won’t say who, just know that neither of the men was all that great, at least not in my opinion.
The story itself, though, is pretty good. It’s fast-paced, steamy and engaging. I just didn’t think either of the men was good enough for Naomi, who is a great character.
Naomi is engaged to Ethan but she doesn’t like him. Graham is her lover from 5 years ago and is back. The fight between these two over Naomi is on but there is also a secret from their past. I felt Naomi should have walked away from both men. They really didn’t deserve her. A crazy triangle of lust and hate.

I loved the characters and the storyline. I’m new to Vanessa Waltz, and after reading this book, I’m sure I’ll read more from her.
.
Wow!! I love this book by Vanessa Waltz!! This story is well written and deals with revenge, back stabbing, suspense, shocking revelations, twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat from page one. Vanessa and Graham are both great characters that you will love and relate to. You will not be able to put this one down once you start it.
Who will Naomi end up with
This is my 4th book by Vanessa and I love an author who writes in dual point of view. Naomi is engaged to Ethan but not by choice. At their engagement party, Graham, her 4 day fling in Vegas 5 years ago, drops a bombshell on her. This begins the tug of war between the 2 men who want Naomi. Who will win and the plot twists along the way will keep you turning the pages until you finish the book.
Love, hate, anger, fear are just some of the emotions being used, abused and manipulated in this darkly twisted triangle of retaliation to lovers between Graham, Naomi, and Ethan.
Their story was one I hadn’t expected! An intriguing, engaging, yet maddening emotional warfare that kept me equal parts frustrated with their behaviors and eager to see what they’d do on the next page!
A high octane heat feel, plenty of dark scenes with a layer of broken trust and hearts thrown into the mix giving you a no holds barred not going to find prince charming here read that I could not put down!
Based on the description of the book, I expected something different. Two men fighting over a woman…blah blah blah.
But it was so much more!!!! This is a high-stakes, suspenseful and exciting romance! Ethan and Graham are literally at each other’s throats and Naomi is caught in the middle.
I loved it but the ending seemed a little abrupt. So much build up and then it kind of fizzled.
That’s why I gave it 4 stars. I needed a little something more.
This book was fast paced and easy to read. There were lots of twists and turns. It was an enjoyable read. 4½ stars
Marriage used as a tool for revenge
Marriage debt is a story that focuses on two men and their constant revenge against each other which eventually involves a woman.
Naomi and Ethan are engaged and having their engagement party. But she absolutely loathes him and his controlling nature and only puts up with him for one reason and one reason alone….her father is sick! However, at the engagement party, the man who left her broken-hearted five years ago in Vegas reappears and claims to be her husband
Naomi is constantly manipulated by both parties. So many lies, deceptions and twists and turns found me super anxious to get to the end of the story and hoping for an HEA Suffice to say a very good gripping read, that had me literally on the edge of my seat
A big thank you to Vanessa for my advanced copy for which I leave my honest review
What a great book! I really enjoyed Graham and Naomi’s story. Yes, this book is a little more intense than both The D and Jingle Balls. Those books were more light hearted. This book starts off with Graham who we meet in The D. He is Blair’s brother and he has just discovered Naomi the girl he spent four days with in Vegas is his wife. It all comes back to Graham and he is determined to stop Naomi from marrying Ethan. Naomi has no memory of marrying Graham. Graham and Ethan share a secret from their past. Ethan treats Naomi terribly and Graham is determined to win her back and protect her. This story is such a roller coaster of surprises, suspense, emotional ups and downs and of course strong chemistry between Naomi and Graham. This is one of Ms Waltz best books to date. The only thing I would say that I would have wanted to happen is that Graham and Ethan story would have wrapped up better. Ethan definitely needed to pay for what he put Naomi and Graham through. As for Naomi and Graham I loved the HEA they were able to get. Amazing story. Loved it!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book
Naomi is between a rock and a hard place! Five years ago she was with the love of her life that she met in Vegas he left a message saying he would return but that wasn’t the one she received. Enter Ethan who reminded her of Graham who picked up the pieces and turned her life into a living hell! He ‘s manipulative and spins stories to get his way including with her father! Grahams back in the picture and she finds out that she’s married to him which sparks war with Ethan. This story is filled with emotional twists and turns at every page with some you don’t see coming which makes it hard to put this book down!

Loved this twisted tale of romance!
This book has a unique storyline and it’s definitely twisted. The story is very well written and I love the characters. It’s kind of a love triangle, where Naomi is stuck in the middle of two men, Ethan and Graham, who hate each other but they both want Naomi. Graham had Naomi for a short time in Vegas five years ago and lost her, but he wants her back. Ethan has been with Naomi for the past five years. Which man will she choose? What lengths will these men go to to keep her? Grab this twisted tale and find out!!! I loved this book and I highly recommend it!

This book had an intriguing storyline and a lot of intensity. There was plenty of drama, twist and an overall feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop. My big issues was I could not connect with the characters. for me they ranged from unlikable to full on couldn’t stand them. That is just my feeling though.
