Finding your happily ever after is complicated when your matchmaker is a cat… her.
Beau’s happy at sea until his father passes and leaves him with an odd last request. Now he’s setting up shop in a small town, searching for ogres, and, inconveniently, falling for the miller’s sister—who just happens to be taken with someone else.
It soon becomes clear that if Etta and Beau want to get anywhere, they’ll need not only each other’s help, but the cat’s as well. But putting your trust in a feline is difficult, especially when you’re not exactly sure what it is he has planned…

A fun twist on the original that was both entertaining and easy to read.
Based on an old fairy tale about a cat with boots. Who could talk. Who could figure out how to deal with difficult people. Unpredictable and fun to read.
Nice take on a classical tale.
Well it puts a great twist to the classic and will make you laugh and fall in love with the characters.
Delightful book and twist on the puss in boots story. I would certainly read it again for fun.
A simple retelling of a famous fairytale with a fun recast of a heroine as the main character and just enough twists to keep an improbable tale realistic. Well done.
A wonderful read.
This has always been a favorite fairy tale of mine, and I thought it was an original retelling. Love the character of the cat!
An easy, fun book to read!
Entertaining revisioning of the classic “puss in boots.”
Light, fun and a pleasurable read. The author had me convinced it was headed in one direction only to lead me off on another path. I particularly enjoy it when a read can do that.
I enjoyed reading the story and found it very entertaining.
I made it all of a chapter before the writing literally became unbearable. 0/5
Very interesting, held my attenion.
This is a great book for any age.
Love the story! It was a very pleasant easy read.
Predictable and simplistic characters, plot development is weak and internally inconsistent. Would have been a good short story, but not enough character development to carry than entire book.
Enjoyed this book
Enjoyed it, really different
An enjoyable take on an old fairy tale. The characters were likable. Loved the cat.
