Enjoying all Daniel Silva books
Well written.
Great book. Loved it
Disappointing. I am a fan of Silva’s work, but this was downright slow and poky, in contrast to the fast-moving action-packed story I’ve come to expect. Gabriel’s recovery from the beatings and bruises he endures has become entirely unbelievable as he’s entered advanced middle age, and the formulaic structure of his adventures has become tedious. Time to create a new series, Mr. Silva, and I for one will follow where you lead!k
A great beginning to a series. “Gabriel A.” is both calculating and charming. His expertise in the arts includes not only fine arts, but also turning problem elimination into an “art” when comes to resolving the mortal challenges that face the Nation of Israel. Difficult to not complete in one sitting.
Daniel Silva is an outstanding author. Great book.
Excellent Read Main Character Gabreial Allon is very interesting.
A page turning, can’t put down book. But isn’t he always, all his books are mudtbreads.
Only read a couple of pages then gave up. The characters were too immoral for me.
One of Silva’s earlier works that did not have Allon as a character but did include two characters from the Allon series. I enjoyed the book and went on the read the second of the series featuring Michael Osbourne.
Daniel Silva always delivers!
Loved the characters. Kept you on the edge the hole book. Having lived in DC loved being familiar with everything that was going on.
Silva has yet to write a bad book
Silva is a great writer and this book is no exception. Couldn’t lay it down until finished.
Another excellent work by Silva.
Daniel Silva is a very good writer for this genre. I’ve read all his books and enjoyed them. The Gabriel Allon series will keep you up half the night.
I can’t quite remember this particular book but I have to say that I love all Daniel Silva books and there has not been one that has slipped below standard. They are clever, well written and can be read by this 71 year old without the fear of coming across foul language or over the top visual sex. I love that the main character is an Art Restorer and Assassin! The word class comes to mind. I have become involved in the main character, Gabriel Allons life, his two loves and, dare I say it, his down to earth magnetism. I read these books well before my introduction to Kindle and I would be racing to the store or library searching for aother one as soon as one was finished. As an avid reader I can safely recommend all the Daniel Silva books as must reads and this one would be no exception. I have been on the look out for one I haven’t read and live in hope that one day one will pop up on Kindle. Daniel Silva is a Master of his Art.
The Gabriel Allon character is one of the best protagonists ever created for a prose series – even better, in several ways than Berenson’s John Wells (whom I like) because Allon is (for me) a more sensitive multi- faceted and creative guy. But both guys are top-notch!!!
A good read. A bit slower than other Silva books I have read, but still well worth reading.
