I thought the characters were poorly defined and shallow. It didn’t motivate me to keep reading.
A page – Turner book from the first page. Many twists.
Daniel Silva has created a character, Gabriel Allon. Allon is a spy who is also a master restorer of rare paintings. Oh, he is also the head of “The Office” which is the organization that is Israel’s version of Homeland Security and CIA. You cannot go wrong with Daniel Silva’s books.
Any early Silva, it had all of the power of his continuing books. Characters you quickly align with, great adventures…I sent copies to my grandson and he’s now hooked on Silva too.
Gopod Booh, great author
Terrific story like all of Daniel Silva, non-stop action
Loved it, have read all of Daniel Silva’s. Highly recommend it.
I loved this book, the only problem was I couldn’t put it down. Read the book, all night no sleep! If you love to read suspense it a must read !
Daniel Silva always delivers a great read, I cannot put them down.
Not his best but terrific just the same
This is one of the best of the Gabriel Allon books – and I believe I have read them all! Gabriel recruits a civilian female physician to become an agent for The Office: to infiltrate a very concerning new Islamic terrorist group run by a completely unknown mastermind – Saladin. It is nerve-wracking and VERY well done.
Surprise ending with lots of twists and turns along the way.
Very good book. I throughly enjoy Daniel Silva’s books. He draws very interesting characters and the espionage is intriguing. Read The Unlokely Spy as a deal from Bookbub and then read all the rest.
Excellent reading and suspense.
as always, any book by Daniel Silva is amazing and I anxiously await his next!
Silva keeps you up at night, love the pacing and the narrative.
Daniel Silva is my favorite author! My husband and I have read all of his books and eagerly wait for the next one!! Gabriel Alon is my favorite character. I just learned that they will be making a TV series from the books – its about time!
