We are bad-ass human survivors, working with very powerful ancient angels, who came to save us. They have been healing Earth and they have activated magical ancient ruins, we didn’t even know existed on our planet. We had know idea that Stonehenge and the Gate of the Gods were so magical and that our planet had star passages to other worlds. We have already been through hell. First, our planet … our planet began to die and we lost people we loved. Then, after the angles arrived we discovered fallen angels, who had been corrupted by the Marilians. Now we have to fight the second battle for our lives, against the evil and vicious Marilians monsters. The Marilians are coming to take it all, and change us into their own kind…..A fate worse than death.
We will do whatever it takes, to protect Earth and each other. We have been through too much, to lose it all now. Mel, her family and all the human survivors have been busy helping Earth’s angels to heal our planet, and prepare for the Marilian invasion. The ancient angels have called upon the Elders to help, and the Elders have something up their sleeve, which may give them and us the upper hand. The magic, action, love, humor and intrigue will have you hooked.
Our planet dying, was just the beginning……
The Earth’s Angel Trilogy is crossing genre lines, enthralling Jk Rowling, Stephenie Meyer and Adrian Tchaikovsky, sci-fi & fantasy fans alike. Men and woman of all ages are connecting with Beth’s characters and are loving her original story concept.

Angels, magic, dragons! The last of the human survivors are waiting for Earth to be healed. The book, “ ,” is a thought-provoking tale that poses questions of how we, as humans, need to continue to improve our efforts to save this beautiful planet. Also, you might give yourself a “hmm” on the possibilities of what stone-hedge and other unexplained locations on Earth were used for. We may never know exactly, but it’s fun to imagine as the author puts some interesting theories in this story.
The story continues to follow the surviving families of Earth. But, emotions get heated as they fight alongside the angels against another species known as Marilians. The Marilians not only want control, they want to change all living species to be just as they are…loathsome beings! The angels and humans team up together to protect each other while protecting Earth no matter what it takes.
Beth Worsdell is a fun writer with quite an imagination. Even though some better proofreading was needed, the story was full of imagery and I enjoyed reading it. I’m also glad there is a younger version available, as some sexual scenes will get you blushing to say the least. This is book two of the “’ ” and I look forward to reading her next book. If you want an action-filled, science fiction story, don’t hesitate to grab this book!
I was not let down by this second book in the earth Angels trilogy! Action packed, kept me reading to the end! The characters are witty and keep you rooting throughout! Waiting impatiently for the third book now! NOTE: Written by a wonderful British author, a lot of british terms and wording! Do not let that stop you from enjoying this great book.
The Marilians by Beth Worsdell has everything you could want in a good story: love, laughter, suspense, overcoming loss, a bunch of adorable animals, and so much more! This book 2 in the Earth’s Angels trilogy continues to delight as the human survivors prep for battle against The Marilians. Characters I already loved I grew to love even more in book 2. Beautiful descriptions of surprising locations set an endearing stage throughout the read. The Earth’s Angels trilogy was voted in by the members as Book Club-Hosted by Heather Skinner’s July 2021 featured read and I am excited to read book 3 right away to see how the trilogy ends! I highly recommend the Earth’s Angels trilogy as a book club read. The unique story elements, realistic and inspiring characters, and timely and important issues make for great discussion topics that all book clubs can enjoy! It is a Sci-Fi/Fantasy book, but has many elements of other genres to identify with and is a story of a family’s love and strength together at its core. I really enjoyed the dragons! Beth Worsdell used them in a way I have never seen in a story before. I also enjoyed the moment where Mel has to push down empathy for the evil alien race they are battling so she can focus on fighting and protecting her family. That scene is so touching in the midst of the exciting battle that we have been waiting for!
This second book in the Earth’s Angels trilogy has a lot of action as the angels and humans join forces to fight off the Marilians. Although there is more humor—usually sexual—the plot still falls flat. Mel’s unborn baby steals the show by exhibiting powers from the womb, while her other grown daughter becomes intimate with an angel that has adjustable genitalia. If you like light fantasy, this a fast read you might enjoy.
The second book in Beth Worsdell’s trilogy continues the action and wonder of the first. Picking up from the moment we left off in Earth’s Angels, Book #2 see’s Mel, James and the last vestiges of human survivors on Earth teaming up with their ancient alien friends to fight a war with a violent race; The Marilians. The well-crafted sentiment and carefully plotted social dynamic in Beth’s writing often feels like a secret window through to her own life, albeit with shapeshifting, warmongering, interplanetary monsters sprinkled throughout, just for fun. Even during the most high-action moments – and there are several of them, including an all-out war – it’s the emotion and sense of camaraderie among the humans and their otherworldly counterparts that resonates at the book’s core, providing the series, as a whole, with the gravity required to make it flow. Highly recommend.
