Extremely well written, this is a book that I was unsure of at first, but it looked intriguing. Only a few pages in and I was hooked!
It’s amazing that a story of this nature had not been written before. I found myself caught up in the story soon after beginning the book. The characters are nicely developed and each time the reader is faced with what happens to Ivy, they are shown another side of the individuals which confuses but helps the reader focus on the plot. As difficult as it’d be for a viewer to see a movie based upon this story if they had not read the book, it’d sure make a great movie plot with possibly the greatest cast of characters the public has not seen in years. I’m looking forward to the next book I read by Michelle Files.
Really different but very interesting. Makes you wonder if you could relive a certain time in your life, how would your life change or would it? Didn’t expect the ending at all!
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be able to go back in time in your own life and fix mistakes? Ivy Wells gets that opportunity–several times–as she is murdered and keeps waking up at different points in her young life to “fix” mistakes that were made, such as the murder of two of her friends. Who is the murderer known as the Slasher? Ivy is sure she must know who it is–and she does! The ending of this story is super exciting! It was one of these stories that I just didn’t want to end! Be sure to put this one on your reading list!
I love time travel and I love mystery even more! This is the best of both worlds. A very twisty mystery that will catch you by surprise! There were a few times when I got rather aggravated with Ivy for not making better choices considering she would go through her life many times but it was typical of how many women are so it was believable, unfortunately (I am a woman so I know). Either way, this is a wonderful story and I loved to be able to read the complete series in one sitting. I would not have been happy to wait for the next book to come out, though there is much to say for suspense building. Great job on this book and I look forward to more from this author.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book is really different from most books I read. It kept me guessing the whole time and I enjoyed it very much. It’s hard to describe without giving anything away, but it grabs you into a strange place of fantasy and fact and never let’s go till you finish it all.
The Many Lives Of Ivy Wells is a suspenseful, well written time travel mystery and I loved it. I loved getting to read the whole series at once and not having to anxiously wait for the next book to come out. When Ivy Wells finds herself twelve years old again and back in time she’s determined to find the serial killer who killed so many people and changed so many lives forever. This is a twisted, gripping story that I couldn’t put down until I found out how it would end. This is my first series by this author and I look forward to reading more in the future.
Personally, I thought this story was a bit strange. “Time travel” really isn’t my thing in a story. But the author made this more of a mystery, which I like than sci-fi which I don’t like. The story is pretty good. This book is all five parts put into one collection, which I like because cliff hangers and I don’t get along. Not a bad read at all. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book from Booksprout.
