I don’t think I have ever read a disappointing Louis L’Amour book. You know what you’re going to get, and you always get it, so, yeah, always worth reading.
If you love westerns… this is a must read!
The author’s point of view is similar in all his work, good read if you love westerns. The good guys always win in the end and the bad guys are jerks.
a quick good read
A compilation of short stories. Some Entertaining. Some left me wanting more as if they were left unfinished. Nice easy read and a reminder of all the other great westerns that were written by this wonderful man.
Always liked Louis. Best writer of westerns
Any book by L’Armour is a good read
Good read
If you like spur-spinners you love this novel, it moves quickly with action on almost very page…
This is a set of 3 short stories from Louis Amour’s earlier magazine writings. The 2ed is the longest but all are entertaining in the Western fashion. They all involve fighting for a lasting home. I enjoy the action, though wonder how some could survive those actions.
Great Louis Lamour shorter stories, full of action and Old West Romance as usual!
Three short stories by Louis L’Amour. Not his best work but a good read.
Standard Louis. which is a good thing.
typical of Louis.
Although predictable, Louis L’amour stories are always a good read. He features characters you’d like to ride the range with and his descriptions of the landscape put you there.
Classic western
Did not like book. Hard to follow plot or story. Not we’ll written. Difficult to keep reading.
Great
Good book to read
