I enjoy a good mystery and this one was very well written.
Journalist Penny poses as a maid to help her Scotland Yard crush (this part is annoying) solve a murder in an industrialist’s household. Aside from the distracting romance and an odd side story about Penny’s long deceased father, I find this series light and entertaining.
a rather unique story, enjoyed it.
Just didn’t capture my interest
Somewhat unrealistic portrayal of life in Victorian England with a hard to believe finale.
I didn’t like this book. The end seemed out of sync with the plot line, and left me no sense of resolution.
Excellent mystery, well written prose, very enjoyable. I kept trying to decide who done it and why. I was going for one character and I was wrong!
