I have never read a book by Julie Klausen that I didn’t love Highly recommended
Love all her books
Love the suspense in this one.
Julie Klassen is one of my favorites!
This was sooooo good! I forced myself to put it down so I could stretch it out. I could have read it all in a night!
I think my favorite thing about this book was watching Margaret mature throughout the novel. At the beginning, she’s a bit spoiled and entitled. But when she begins working as a maid, she begins to understand everything she’s taken for granted. This was a wonderful piece, making me fall in love with the Regency period all over again. I think this may be one of my favorite Julie Klassen novels.
I really enjoyed this book. I found it to be a good quick fun read. The characters were all likable and realistic. It was also a nice reminder to take our faith seriously and how God can work good even into our disobedience.
Alwaysi nteresting! Good clean read!
Loved the story –I guess I just love reading books that go back in time and tell the hardships that people went through and still found love and romance.
I very much enjoyed this book. Although I got frustrated with the main character because it seems she wouldn’t ever learn the lessons of life, but then it took off and was very good. Highly recommend if you like historical fiction.
This book was so good I couldn’t put it down. If your looking for a good read, this is the book!!
The Maid of Fairborn Hall is another victory for Julie Klassen. Like all of her books, it is well written, well researched, informative of the times, and entertaining. Every detail is brought to light for a reason and she ties all the ends together. More than a story of riches to rags to riches, TMoFH is certainly one I’ll read again. Well done Ms. Klassen.
This was a good read!!!
I really enjoyed reading this book and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys romantic s with a bit of a plot
A clean, easy read. It’s a predictable story.
I really enjoyed this book, I liked all the talking the characters did ,very colorful and real.I liked the way it compared her attitude from before she took the job as maid , and after, she could have just remained in her old style thinking but she saw the flaw in such selfishness.
Brings history to life.
NEW INSIGHT IN TO THOSE IN SERVICE. THAT LIFE WAS DIFFICULT. MORE OF THOSE IN PREVELGE SHOULD CHANGE PLACES AT LEAST ONCE.
Great Regency romance. Fun plot and delightful characters.
I loved this story and was sad when it ended. Many interesting turn of events.
