Romantic Times Top Pick! 4 1/2 Stars! and a K.I.S.S. AWARD
From a New York Times Bestselling Author, The MacKinnon’s Bride brings us love, honor, suspense, passion–all the good things we love in a Highlander Romance.
When laird Iain MacKinnon’s young son is captured by the English, the fierce Scottish chieftain retaliates in kind, capturing the daughter of his enemy to bargain for his son’s … the daughter of his enemy to bargain for his son’s return. Fiercely loyal to kin, Iain never imagines any father could deny his child–or that he would become Page FitzSimon’s savior. “Keep her, or kill her!” FitzSimon proclaims when Iain forces his hand. So, what else should a good lad do, but carry the lass home–without telling her the truth: Her father doesn’t want her. But even as Page blames her reluctant champion for welching on a bargain with her father, she suspects the truth… the shadows hold secrets… and danger. Now only love can save MacKinnon’s fiery new bride.

Tanya Anne Crosby writes with such emotion and passion in each of her books, you cannot help but fall in love with her characters. This is book 5 of a wonderful series in which she hides no strengths or faults her characters have. Reading her books I always feel transported back in time to the time of the story like I’m there watching from the …
This book had a great story line, fun and interesting historical basis. It was a bit drawn out and repetitive but still a good read.
Good book. Enjoyed the characters.
Such a wonderful read. Loved, loved the characters. The author made the life of the characters so real and what the difficulties of the time and area presented. I’ve read hundreds of historical romance books since The MacKinnon’s Bride and this book is superior. Well done.
A great Historical Romance!
I liked it. Will read additional books in the series.
Loved this book! Great read! Looking for more from this author. Guaranteed to be a page-turner. Who needs sleep?!
Good easy reading, entertaining historical romance
really liked the characters and story
Felt like I was back in time. Very good reading.
Although I did understand the fairy tale approach in this book it had some beyond belief moments that made it hard to accept these characters actions. It is hard to enjoy a book when you are thinking why would the character do that.
Unfortunately, a little predictable.
Yet another braw scotsman, hiding his broken heart, being tender at a wee, equally broken girl. Okay, I’m being sarcastic, but really, there’s an awful lot of this stuff.
The addition of his son helped.
the plot and the villain were predictable. I skimmed it through to the end, so it’s better than some.
It is a romance with some very funny scenes that really made me laugh. The writting is good and the story interesting. However, I gave it 4 stars because the story does not show a real reason for the warriors to accept and like the protagonist.
Was a little boring, also some things were never explained, such as the relationship of Ian’s first wife and his brother
very good
Quick easy read. Typical romance novel set in the highlands- still enjoyed it!
Love Tanya Ann Crosby books! Always romantic and interesting with characters to root for. Great mix of action and romance.
What a terrible father!
