Romantic Times Top Pick! 4 1/2 Stars! and a K.I.S.S. AWARD
From a New York Times Bestselling Author, The MacKinnon’s Bride brings us love, honor, suspense, passion–all the good things we love in a Highlander Romance.
When laird Iain MacKinnon’s young son is captured by the English, the fierce Scottish chieftain retaliates in kind, capturing the daughter of his enemy to bargain for his son’s … the daughter of his enemy to bargain for his son’s return. Fiercely loyal to kin, Iain never imagines any father could deny his child–or that he would become Page FitzSimon’s savior. “Keep her, or kill her!” FitzSimon proclaims when Iain forces his hand. So, what else should a good lad do, but carry the lass home–without telling her the truth: Her father doesn’t want her. But even as Page blames her reluctant champion for welching on a bargain with her father, she suspects the truth… the shadows hold secrets… and danger. Now only love can save MacKinnon’s fiery new bride.

I didn’t like heading into sex right away
Warning: this book was released under another name (can’t remember it) a number of years ago, and that is the one I read. However it is a terrific story with lots of likeable characters, despicable villains and a hero who is compelling and strong. I believe it is historically accurate although this is not the best documented period of history. …
Couldn’t put it down. Really enjoyed it.
Ian has lived his life with nightmares of what Mairi had said after giving birth to this son and jumped out the window. Paige was always overlooked by her father and never bothered giving her a name. So when Ian goes to get his son Malcom back from her father, she’s captured by Ian and his men to make a trade. But her father doesn’t want her. …
Good storyline. I enjoyed it a lot!
Loved it. Couldn’t put it down. One of my favorite authors.
Easy read.
Enjoy reading Tanya Anne Crosby,s books. Great characters. Her books have you looking forward to the next book to continue the story. Love historical fiction. Her books are some of the best.
The history part was great. I like historical novels. Could not put it down.
I read books of this nature as mental popcorn, no offense ment, for me this was a quick, humorous and temper filled , light mystery. I enjoyed it and will keep it on my eshelf to read again.
I enjoyed this book. It was well written and captured the spirit of the Scottish highlands and endeared the reader to the spirited bride!
I enjoyed this book. There were some twists and turns and the characters were relatable.

Great Book…along with the complete series…I’m not good with building all the fine points…just saying it is great!
Series of five highland bride histrical romances, fun to read them all …
This author is a new author to me and I have to say she did not disappoint me. Her Scottish story was super funny while twisting in a plot that kept you guessing till the very end.
It will bring tears to your eyes from a father who could not be bothered to name his daughter, to a son so loved that his father will risk anything to get him back. …
I picked up this Kindle book for free a while back when it was on sale, and it is exactly what it says on the tin. With that background shared, I liked it. I wanted a slightly “trashy” romance novel, and that’s what I got. It was fun, emotional, I never found a single character annoying except the bad guys, and, most importantly (in my mind) there …
I thought the book was a little slow moving. I could definitely sympathize with the main female character
I read The MacKinnon’s Bride as part of the Honoring Lost Friends RaT. It was on both my list (I owned it) and Tiffany’s list. I enjoyed my introduction to Tanya Anne Crosby and will read more of her. I happen to own a few…go figure. 😉
