Great story about the French resistance and how one small group created such havoc. This book is about sacrifice and determination.
Boring
The whole homosexual tryst between the radio operator and the young spy seemed gratuitous and tacked on.
Boring
I don’t read historical fiction to learn about the sexual desires of the characters. When it read like there was going to be gay sex between characters, that was too much, & I quit reading.
Undreadable. Author never uses one word when she can use 15. Do NOT recommend
I enjoyed the book. It drew you in to the story and characters…and yet repelled me a little in that it seemed, at times, very “soap opera”-ish.
