A very dark read…
great character name
Great book, troubling and dark; at times, very hard to read.
A Beautiful book but only for some
This book will stay with you.
too, too disturbing
My daughter kept urging me to read it but I refused, because I thought it would be too unbearable. I finally gave in. It is a heartbreaking story but it is wonderfully original and engaging.
At the top of the list “Murder-mystery” list. Highly recommended.
Second half of book seemed thrown together.
There are simply no words to describe this wonderful and moving story. The subject matter is hard to read through, but the minute you close the book, you will never be the same way again. thought provoking
Different take on death and the family. A much better read than the movie.
I liked it even though I do not read scary books often.
A haunting story about a tragic event. I don’t usually read such sad novels, but the author’s exquisite prose made it worthwhile.
Another favorite for upper middle/high schoolers if they are mature enough.
The author did a beautiful job expressing a sad and serious situation through the perspective of someone innocent and precise.
Wanted a bit more and a different ending, but well written and a good read until the end.
