Read this book a few years ago Thought provoking. Recommend it!
This book will stay with you for a long time…
Told from the perspective of a murdered child, this is a unique story. It is heartbreaking, haunting, and, in the end, hopeful.
Bleak.
BEWARE! Not for he squeamish…horrifying story that stays with you. What a story!!
Like The Shack, one to read over and over.
I give this four stars not because of the quality and craftsmanship but simply because I want to give caution to all sexual abuse survivors or family members who have lost children to a predator. Opening scene itself can open up many wounds.
Great story told from an original point of view.
story of what we would like to believe
A worthwhile read
I found it hard to follow. It’s like she has flight of ideas. The storyteller go back and forth in dimensions past, present, earth, and heaven…
I love it !! I think I’ve read it 3 times! It sad but breath taking, you should read if you love crime
An original for me as the narrator was dead. It was just so well written. An unforgettable read.
I liked this book. But it is based on a tragic event involving a child, so it can be disturbing. It is well-written and does hold your interest throughout.
Typically I have problems reading all of a details of a murder of a young person but the author used a different perspective-of the dead girl narrating the events.
Loved it. Very suspenseful and had a good ending.
This was a different type of book for at the time that I read it. I had never really read anything like this before. Very sad but a moving story. I really enjoyed getting to know the main character and seeing how the events unfolded. But a sad story none the less.
Stunning, a page turner.
Read this a long time ago. Such a sad, tragic story told by a girl who has been kidnapped and murdered. Learning about her life and her family. I couldn’t put it down but couldn’t stop crying.
I liked everything about this book.
