A good read. Get the kleenex.
I was intrigued by the way the story was told. It was exceptional and not at all like I thought it would be. Good read!
A very disturbing, but well-written book that I couldn’t put down, despite the very delicate subject matter. It’s a parent’s worst nightmare come to life, but the lyrical way the main character describes her ordeal is fascinating & scary all at once.
Original. Very well written
Very exciting and easy read.
The perspective given in this book is unique. It can be hard for a parent to read.
An unexpected pleasure.
This is a very well-written book. Often I found it hard to emotionally deal with what I was reading. But I almost felt compelled to continue. It was like I’d made a commitment to the characters to stay with them until the end. I’m glad I did.
Different in its approach and very engaging. If you start it, you’ll have to finish it and finish it fast to know what happened.
Read this over a trip to see my sister. I didn’t have a Kindle then and was left with only this to read. I remember it as depressing.
Memorable
Grim but wonderful
Interesting read…
excellent book
Classic and highly original political, social allegory. This used to be required reading in high schools and colleges in the 1960s and ’70s. Don’t know if it still is, but it should be.
Love this book!
It’s tragic then touching- portrays what the victim’s family goes through.
The description of Heaven is origional and, to me, lovely
I really loved this book.
A page-turner, with a haunting premise, particularly to any parent. The character development is top-notch and the perspective of heaven is totally engaging.
I had a whole new view of heaven after reading this book.
Such a well written and haunting story of the human response to tragedy
