Author Nicole French out did herself with this spectacular conclusion of The Quicksilver Trilogy!
Eric and Jane have been through a lot in the first two book but wait until you read this one!
Its so emotional that you want to throw your reading device and if you get a chance after reading, please download the extended epilogue its well worth it!!
The Love Trap is a highly emotional book. I wanted to reach in and give the characters a big hug or a slap on the face depending on their actions. I enjoyed this book and the series as a whole. Five stars for a well-written series with plenty of emotion and substance.
The Love Trap has a heavier feel compared with the previous books in the series. Both characters, Eric and Jane, seem to go through a rollercoaster of emotion, but Jane’s character especially so. Jane is so outwardly confident and vibrant in the beginning. Eric continues to strive for their combined happiness against the odds. This fight till the end attitude Eric has was my favourite aspect of this story. As the book progresses, Jane spirals to the lowest of lows. I felt her desperation and anguish. These characters have changed greatly over the course of the series. I enjoyed their evolution.
There are quite a few “flashbacks” which, although somewhat insightful, slowed down the pace of the story in my opinion. The emotional intensity in the middle of this instalment was off the charts. I felt that I needed some relief to the anguish and frustration, much like the characters probably did. Thankfully, lighter and humorous moments were weaved into the final third to alleviate the dark.
The Love Trap is the final instalment of the Quicksilver series by Nicole French. This novel follows on from the events in previous books; The Hate Vow and The Kiss Plot. You MUST start with book one and read in order.
How do I put into words what this book did to me? How it made me FEEL!!!! OMG!! After reading the first two books I was on pins n needles waiting for The Love Trap to come out, and let me tell you it was SO WORTH THE WAIT!!! This story will GUT YOU, break your heart, then put it back together better than before, with so MUCH LOVE!
Jane and Eric’s story is one of a kind, their journey is long and full of twists and turns, but together they can get through anything, and through it all, their love for each other only gets stronger!
This book is filled with love, angst, sorrow and pain, but love conquers all in this!!
Get your tissues ready, you’ll need them!
If you’re looking for an easy to follow, hot, steamy, sexy, smooth flowing read that captures your attention from the start. Congratulations my friends you’ve found it. The characters and scenes are realistic and believable. Twists and turns and unpredictable surprises that kept my eyes on the pages and on the edge of my seat. I followed the characters fascinated as their personalities transformed and blended. Vivid detailed descriptions were so life like and on point. The storyline was solided and well defined. Cold showers may be in order when your finished. Nicole French did a remarkable job bringing this story together beautifully.
I voluntarily submitted an ARC review for this book.
OMG!! MY HEART!! I am a voracious reader, but rarely does a book or series stick with me the way this series has done. Nicole French has a gift. Eric and Jane and everything they went through to be together, to find themselves, to discover who they were as individuals and a couple, all of it was emotional and heartfelt. This is not just a romance, but truly an epic novel about Jane, Eric, and all the people their lives touch. I truly felt the emotions that Eric and Jane felt all through this series, even if I did want to shake them at times. 5 stars all the way!!!
Brilliant. Outstanding. Breathtaking. These are just some of the words I could use to describe The Love Trap. Nicole French pulled out all of her best writing tricks for the finale of the Quicksliver Trilogy. It has emotion, fire, beauty, ugliness, hatred, and love. I don’t think I have ever read such a perfect ending to a series.
Jane and Eric’s story is nothing short of epic. Their love for each other spans years, even though they were not together for most of them. They have already faced so much to be together. But their most difficult trials are yet to come.
Can Eric and Jane bring John Carson down and make him face the justice he so deserves? Will they be able to weather the storms ahead and come out the other side whole and together?
his is the third book and conclusion to Eric and Janes story and what an ending it was. It was everything and so much more. My emotions all over with these two. It just had so much in this that I was hooked on it and could not put down.
The Love Trap by Nicole French available now. This is the third and final installment in The Quicksilver Series.
The perfect Finale. This series and especially this book is filled with layers of a captivating rich story with awe-inspiring sentiments. There is the edge of your seat suspense.
It’s packed with every emotion, I laughed, I wept through the turmoil and cried tears of joy through each triumph.
Jane and Eric are captivating characters that capture your heart with their strong will and natural defiance. Their passion is undeniable, immovable, and unquenchable. They will fill your heart with the desire as they overcome and become the humans they were meant to be. Inspiring you to become the true you!
I hope you will enjoy this story as much as I. Start with the Hate Vow this book is meant for mature audiences and should be read as a series.
Really enjoyed the love story between Eric and Jane. Their love was like any other they had their ups and downs. But their love for one another was strong.
Holy cow WOW!! This book has it all. Everything you would not expect with a whole lot of feels, emotions, pain, despair, anger, hurt, and twist and turns that will have your head spinning and you asking what just happened. Jane and Eric an amazing couple who have been thur it all and back again, but will they have enough left to fight when they have too? This author knows how to break your heart and soul and slowly put it back together again. I so can’t wait to see what she has next
I have been waiting like a kid for Santa Claus for this book to come out. This is the final book in the trilogy of Eric de Vries and Jane Lefferts’s love story. It has been filled with angst and steamy love scenes. The witty banter between these two is just the best!
These two were destined to be together even with all the push and pull they always are drawn together. The secrets and crimes of the past have led to the events today that Eric and Jane have to overcome.
This is one of the best series of the year and now you can read them all together without waiting! Nicole French is one author I can one click and know I am getting an awesome read!! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars!
Eric and Jane’s is one of those stories that leaves a lasting impression. It’s beautiful written. The author does a wonderful job writing about difficult topics. My poor heart was ripped out and I was gutted reading parts of this final segment of their journey. I would recommend tissues.
Love is not always easy, the road can be bumpy and long but it’s definitely worth traveling with the right person. By the end I was so over joyed for the two. I’m so happy that they finally get their chance for a happy ever after.
I’ve enjoyed this series SO much, and it’s one I’ll binge-read again in the near future. A great mix of mystery, romance and heart break. An amazing trilogy that you’ll be talking about for days!
Nicole French really finished the series out with a bang. I had a hard time putting this book down. I needed to find out what happened in the past to make sense of everything going on in the present. I think Nicole did a fabulous job in taking the reader in the past and intertwining that past with the present. It was fabulous writing.
I will say you should read the first two books in the series to gain the best impact while reading this book. This was the third and final book for Jane and Eric. I’m sad it’s over but it was oh so satisfying.
All the drama, heartache and passion you can hope for in a book! This is the absolute perfect ending for the series! Just when I’m about to die in a pivotal point in the story – Nicole gives the readers one of the BEST laugh out loud moments (hint: the princess bride)!!! Just adored this book!
Perfection. Absolute perfection, once again! This was everything that I wanted, never knew I wanted, and more from Eric and Jane. So many feels!!! Nicole French hit it out of the park (as she always seems to do) and gave Eric and Jane a beautiful wonderful conclusion filled with laughter, tears, angst, suspense, and most of all so much love!
I definitely recommend you read all the books in the series in order. That’s the first thing I have to say. Then. . . this conclusion was everything a reader wants that they don’t know before they read it. The suspense, the romance . the everything. It is a roller coaster ride type series, that makes it clear why I’m still reading Nicole French and why her books are go to.
5 STARS
Nicole French’s Quicksilver Trilogy took me on an EPIC journey from beginning to end! This final book was phenomenal!!! The continuation of Jane and Eric’s story gave me all the feels and it was a perfect way to end the series.
“You are essential to me. Like the air I breathe. The water I drink. I can’t fucking exist without you, Jane. Can’t. Fucking. Live.”
I highly recommend reading this book and the trilogy as a whole! The Love Trap by Nicole French will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!
An emotional ending to this trilogy! Ashley @ Carolina Chic’s Read
The Love Trap is intense and you would not expect anything less than that with the conclusion of Jane and Eric’s story. This story will have you fighting all the emotions to get through the ending of this story. Nicole keeps you on your toes and will have you turning the pages until the end!!!
Im not sure where to start with this review so I apologize if my thoughts are a scattered mess! Let me start by saying that once I started reading I couldn’t put this book down and when I had to adult I constantly had these characters on my mind and an ache in my chest wondering what was going to happen to Jane and Eric. I have read every one of Nicole’s books and loved them, but Jane and Eric are my absolute favorite. Whether it was their fun, sarcastic banter, their constant bickering or their love for each other I connected with them. They were a real life, genuine couple I could relate with. I laughed with them at their jokes and cried with them through their heartache, betrayal and violation. Nicole French writes more than a romance book, she writes a well thought out novel with so many loving, sexy, tragic, suspenseful, mysterious, educational, current event layers. Some people may not like the depth and extras that go beyond the love story, but I definitely appreciate the effort she puts into her books. It was very evident in this book, the entire Quicksilver series. I can’t say enough great things about this book/series! You will love all the ups and downs that are Jane and Eric!!
