Nicole French this was just the perfect way to finish the Quicksilver series. It was unpredictable, to say the least, there were things that I never saw coming, just WOW!!!!
Petri dish and Pretty girl are simply #GOALS. I love their connection, chemistry, banter but more than anything their essence. I love love love love their story.
About the protagonists:
Eric is my boo and Jane is my spirit animal! Both are strong and fearless. I think that the conclusion of the series made sense and it was beautifully written, thank you for sharing this story with us.
Things really take a dark turn here. I was honestly surprised that things went as far as they did. And I appreciate the way the aftermath was dealt with throughout the book, rather than swept aside or resolved unrealistically quickly.
There was a lot more action and a lot more drama in this grand finale. Jane and Eric still have a volatile relationship. They are both so insecure with each other after all they’ve gone through. It’s probably realistic, but as a reader is super frustrating. They made such a great team and had each other’s backs every time it really mattered. I’ve never read a romance where the couple argued so much.
What a fantastic trilogy!!! It had me giggling and turning the pages frantically!! Nicole French just sucks you in and doesn’t let go until the very end!! Gripping and exciting!!
The truth was revealed. The villains died and the cohorts captured. It was a different story but at last they got to have their happily ever after. Worth reading.
I did enjoy the series of books but found that all 3 were too long and drawn out. The first half of the books were a struggle but the second half were much better, I did enjoy the love between Eric and Jane in the end but boy was she frustrating!
I would like to read Nina and Matthews story but I’m put off by the quicksilver stories inability to hold my attention well enough in the first half of the books
Eric and Jane have a lot of baggage and horrible things that have happened and are happening. The one constant thing is the love they have for each other. This book has so many twists and turns that your head spins. Life is beautiful and ugly but you rely on the people you love to get you through. Great characters and storyline. Highly recommended. Awesome book.
My heart!!! What the hell did Nicole French do to me? Where is my soul. No, it has been devoured whole by The Love Trapped. Trapped. Confined in powerful words that slayed me. Hold my phone, The Love Trap absolutely wrecked me. My poor heart and soul has been captured. Wow, Nicole French, you are freaking brilliant. Your words echo a beautiful tune in my heart. Your characters tell stories that smash and entice me. The Love Trap is an incredible book with vivacious storyline that stripped every single of my emotions. Every word was told an exciting story that swept me away. Nicole French is a brilliant storyteller who brings stories with so much passion and heart. Damn, I am a goner. And I probably need a drink. Hahaha.
The Quicksilver series has made me a fan of Nicole French. This series made me a prisoner and hooked my heart with captivating words that exploded. Now, the Quicksilver series ends with a tantalizing conclusion to a heart inducing story. The Love Trap is the thrilling finale to a special series that holds dear to my heart. Man, I am still in a book coma because of The Love Trap. My heart latched onto an explosive book with a fast paced story and scorching characters that delivered. The Love Trap just absolutely hoodwinked me. Nicole French put her heart and soul in this book. I could feel her emotions written in words that moved me. I could feel it in her characters that touched my inner soul. Angsty. Heart Burning. The Love Trap is soul searing book with a roller coaster of emotions, nail biting suspense, soul baring love and inextinguishable passion. I am deeply in love with The Love Trap. One magical story that twisted and turned my heart.
Eric and Jane are truly my soul couple. Their journey of love is not easy at all. That’s why I love them. You see a couple with so much trials and obstacles, but still grow throughout the series. I truly adored them. I kinda feel so emotional because this is my last time reading about them. I wanna cry. Lol, I know they are fictional but Eric and Jane held a piece of my heart. I 100% connected to them on a deeper level.
This is my first series by Nicole French and it’s not going to be my last. I loved every moment and I am totally ready for more from Nicole French.
ARC provided by author in exchange for an honest review.
Well worth the wait for this book to come out! I couldn’t put it down! It, along with the first two, need to be made into a movie! Ms. French is one of my favorite authors!
I am a new reader to Nicole French, the Quicksilver series has been my first by her, and I am absolutely hooked! The ending to Eric and Jane’s story is nothing short of epic. I cried, laughed, got angry, and cheered. French’s ability to pull you in to a story and make you not want to put it down and not want the story to end is amazing. 5 huge stars and I will definitely be reading much more from her.
Wow. A Villain to absolutely hate. A man who loves so much. A woman who finally learns to trust love. A great finish to an engrossing story!
Well edited.
Back in Book #1 & #2:
Eric and Jane met in law school. Eric liked Jane. Eric pursued Jane. Jane let her own insecurities and assumptions cost them the better part of 8 years. Eric needs a bride. Eric goes to Jane. Jane agrees. High society is not exactly pleased. Secret Society is not exactly pleased. Plots ensue. Eric and Jane make it to the church. Things are rocky but salvageable. Villain arrives and chaos ensues. Will is changed. Villain tries to keep Eric and Jane apart. They reluctantly agree, but love won’t be stopped. They go on the run. They are hunted. Eventually, they go back to face the devil. Happy news – a baby is coming. Eric is arrested. What will happen next?!
As Eric awaits release from jail, Jane learns that her mother is missing. Clues are followed and Jane lands in Korea. She is totally aware of the devil they are facing, so she does take a security detail with her. Eric is terrified for her. His fears are totally justified when Jane is kidnapped. By the time Eric finds her, the devil has already done a horrible thing. Jane is nearly broken. Eric searches for a way to bring Jane back from the depths of grief, but it is not an easy road. At the same time, he is searching for a way to bring the devil down. Will he succeed? Will Jane allow love to help her heal? Will she ever learn to fully trust in Eric and his love?
Once again, the pacing and plotting of this are really good. I finished Book #1 and #2 in one day, and could not wait to see what happened. The threads are twisty and so very connected. The ending was satisfying, and the epilogue available at the end was just great. Enjoy!
The Love Trap by Nicole French is the third and concluding book in her Quicksilver series. Picking up where book two, The Kiss Plot, left us hanging we immediately dive back in to the story of Eric and Jane de Vries and the twisted world of the secret society that is trying to ruin their lives if not end them. Well-written and well-paced this book will neatly wrap up unanswered questions and cleverly (and heartbreakingly) find these two finally living their happily ever after. But it is definitely a hard won happy ending so prepare yourself. Get some tissues. Have some comfort food on hand. And go forth. Enjoy!
I thought this was a good ending for this series. Good writing.
Oh wow, what a conclusion to the Quicksilver triology. This series is a must read, Eric and Jane’s story will break your heart at times, their story is just fabulous and I loved seeing past characters from Nicoles other stories written in. Great triology!!
Twists, turns, suspense, intrigue, hurt, despair, sadness, love………this book has all the feels. In this final book in the Quicksilver Trilogy, Nicole French takes you on a roller coaster ride of emotions. From being giddy with happiness, then plummeting you down to the bottom with anger, despair and sadness. Then the gradual ride up to hope, love and resolve, and then back to the top with love, peace and happiness. Although the story touches on some very intense and delicate topics, Nicole French tackles them eloquently. Jane and Eric are the epitome of opposites attract and what love should be.
The Quicksilver series has left me wanting more from the start every book was just a little more. I couldn’t get enough of Jane and Eric. The last installment was worth waiting for even when I was screaming and holding on for dear life I couldn’t put it down. Nicole French outdid herself with this Trilogy that’s a lot to be said I’m a huge Nico and Layla fan.
I loved this book and I could not put down. Each page pulled me in and would not let me go. Great story, characters and chemistry.
The Love Trap (Quicksilver Book 3) by Nicole French is a contemporary, billionaire, romantic suspense. It is the third and final book in the Quicksilver trilogy. The book moves back and forth between scenes from the past and in the present. It’s separated into four parts and is told almost entirely from the first person point of view of the heroine, Jane Lefferts, except for occasional interludes and part three which are in the third person point of view of the hero, Eric DeVries.
The story picks up right where the previous one ended. It is full of action, suspense, and twisty turns as long-awaited secrets are finally revealed. There were moments where it felt like the story dragged a little bit and felt long, but there was quite a lot of ground to cover before a resolution could be reached. Overall, I really enjoyed the story. It was exciting, emotional, and a satisfying conclusion to the series. I’m looking forward to Nina and Zola’s story.
This book was such an outstanding read with the great storyline and amazing characters! I absolutely adored Jane and Eric as a couple and they kept me totally captivated throughout the entire book!
Amazing journey Jane and Eric took us on I loved it all the angst and emotions they make you feel are amazing. You jump right in to there world and I never wanted to leave . Getting ready to binge skylers series and this one together it will be epic!!!
I don’t know if I’m able to write the review this (series) book deserves. It really blew me away. So much going on throughout the story had me on the edge of my seat. I was so nervous throughout parts of it and my heart was beating so fast. I really thought it would beat out of my chest. But if I thought I loved her other books, I’ll have to admit this is one of my top favorite series. I love Eric and Jane. They have the most unusual love story ever and it seems so realistic. The events they have been put through in this final book is just almost more then any couple should have to bare. The characters and the writing are just amazingly told. So without giving away anything I’m gonna stop right here. But yes this is an absolute series you need to read. Highly Recommended! I would have given way more stars!
