This boxed set contains the complete Love Brothers series!
L IS FOR LIAM
When Liam Love is hit with one tragedy after another, his grief sends him into a toxic spiral—until his wild ways come to a screeching halt with a DUI and a woman who claims he’s the father of her baby. After Liam’s court-ordered community service at a homeless shelter throws him together with Cherisa Landis, a gorgeous headstrong young woman, he starts to think a fake romance with her might be his ticket to wealth and independence. Cherisa wasn’t ready to be any man’s anything, fake or not, after her divorce from her cheating ex. Her florist shop was doing a gangbuster business, and she didn’t need anyone’s help, especially a sexy hunk with a chip on his shoulder. Besides, it takes a mighty good man to be better than nothing, and she wasn’t about to settle for “good enough.”
O IS FOR OWEN
When Owen Love lost his parents and the love of his life, he chucked his safe-but-boring CPA job to pursue one high-octane sport after another. But his efforts to drown his sorrows as an adrenline junkie almost get derailed when beautiful triathlete Apryl Tallon distracts him at a BMX race, and he wipes out. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he’s asked to mentor her and fears she’s just another golddigger out for his family’s money. Then why is he so strangely attracted to her? Apryl isn’t about to let anything or anyone, especially an arrogant biker, stand between her and her Olympic dreams. When her coach hires the very same BMX biker who accused her of causing him to crash, she’s livid. It’s bad enough her family thinks she should just get a “normal” job and settle down, but now she’s being thrown together with a rich, spoiled jerk … even if he is as sexy as hell.
V IS FOR VADEN
When the tragedies in Vaden Love’s life became almost too much to bear, his grief turned him into an emotional hermit, rarely coming out of the beach house he shares with his dog except for his hated job managing a resort. But a sprained ankle and a surprising chance encounter with delivery girl Bryana Schaffrath threaten to draw him out of his cave—if it doesn’t destroy everything else in his life first. Bryana has a lot of trouble in her life thanks to an overprotective twin brother, working full-time as a delivery girl, trying to become the first one in her family to get an MBA, and worst of all, dodging a stalker whose attentions seem to be getting worse. When shy-but-sexy customer Vaden Love starts asking for only her to deliver food to him every day, has she just gained a new stalker, or is this the beginning of something that could change her life for better—or worse?
E IS FOR EVAN
As if dealing with personal tragedies wasn’t enough, Evan Love’s beachside tourist shop is mysteriously failing, and as the youngest brother in the family, he feels extra pressure to succeed. When he “copies” marketing tactics from rival shop owner Dusti Matson in desperation, the sexy owner tells him in no uncertain terms to back off. Intrigued by her spunk and charm, his initial attempts to apologize fail—but will winning her over end up leaving both their shops and her reputation in ruins? Dusti has been burned by men one too many times, and she’s not about to succumb to Evan Love’s charming frat boy persona. Yet, as she gets to know Evan better and learns he’s not just another handsome guy with an ego, her defenses are in danger of crumbling.
more
Excellent and unique set of adult brothers that are dealing with the sudden loss of their father. Each is handling it in unique ways. Some of those ways are wild. They will each receive their inheritance upon finding true love. Oh yeah their last name is Love. Liam is the oldest who started drinking, Owen is the daredevil, Vaden is the hermit and Evan is struggling to succeed, who has time for love? All 4 stories have a lot of emotions, intrigue, struggling and daring to try to love again. I received a complementary copy via Hidden Gems and chose to write a review. I look forward to reading future books by Ms. Vane in the future.
LIAM
This is book one in the Love Brothers series and it features Liam and Cherisa . Liam‘s father passed away and it was a stipulation of his will that each of his four sons find true love before they receive their inheritance. These two meet serving community service for a shelter. They started off slow but quickly moved things along. Cherisa really surprised me with her bold moves. I didn’t think she had it in her. The writing is not smooth but the story line is good. Characters are good too.
OWEN
This is book two and it features Owen and Apryl. They met through cycling and grew closer through a series of unfortunate events. Apryl is a little more bold than I expected. I could see them getting closer but failed to see a “true love” connection. The character of Owen is hard to understand with his daredevil occupations and lack of zest for life.
VADEN
This is book 3 and it features Vaden and Bryana. Vaden actually wants to be a chef at his own restaurant but because of how much money it would cost, he’s stuck working as a manager for a resort. Bryana is working as a delivery person for a deli as she gets her MBA. She rescued him in his time of need but will anybody be there to rescue her when her stalker gets tired of just sending notes? Vaden has a definite lack of motivation for anything. Too much of the story is spent on their “not too exciting” meeting. The story line is good but there needs to be MORE to the actual plot.
EVAN
This is book 4 and it features Evan and Dusti. They both own shops on the beach front. Evan is struggling with life after losing his girlfriend, his mother and shortly after that, his father. His shop isn’t doing great but Dusti has great ideas. The events of this story are not tied together too well and that makes for a book that’s hard to get through.
I just feel the stories were rushed and didn’t offer much build up or background. The writing structure definitely needs improvement. There is no smooth flow in any of these stories.
NOTE: Though I did NOT base my review on it, there are a lot of grammatical errors that make it difficult and time consuming to read.
Love conquers all
The Love Brothers (Books 1-4 Box Set) by Bonnie Vane is a fun and at times exciting read. Each Love Brother has a unique personality and story with their perfect life match. The plot and setting are equally interesting as much as the characters themselves and the stories they have to tell.
Overall, an intriguing and engaging Box Set that’s a little bit sweet, a little bit steamy, a little bit suspenseful with a dash of danger, but full of HEAs.
I read an ARC of this book from Hidden Gems and voluntarily share my review.
This is a well written series and worth a reader`s time to become acquainted with these four brothers. I really enjoyed the close familial bonds the brothers had and the way they were always supportive of one another. Each meet women who present challenges to them and-or have challenges in their life that the interested brother wants to fix. Lovely romance. Sensual scenes are interspersed throughout the four stories.
Highly Recommended Reading.
