The Alinthia series is going to be insane! The Lost Savior starts with a bang and captivates until the end. All the drama combined with restrained passion on the verge of igniting makes this book a real page-turner. Tori/Alinthia is an endearing and gutsy female character that is already evolving (literally) in this first book. Although she’s dealing with distressing situations and having to make agonizing decisions in this part of her story, there’s blossoming going on as well.
I had my doubts about the reverse harem theme because I didn’t think genuine connections would be plausible, but what Siobhan came up with totally works. Each of the guys in Alinthia’s life is charming (and hot) in his own way, yet all are distinctly different. It’s like a quadruple dose of swoon! There’s obviously a lot of discovery as Alinthia’s true nature and destiny is progressively being revealed through the chapters, but part of the intrigue is also seeing how all of Alinthia’s relationships are developing uniquely with each young man. I can’t wait for book 2! Bought through Amazon.ca.
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! It was a lot of fun! Tori discovering she was an alien, finding out she has four gorgeous alien protectors that she is bound to (oh my!), having to try and accept this and balance it with her “human” life…and so much more that I won’t say because SPOILERS!
At first it’s mostly in Tori’s voice. Then as the guys come into it more there are chapters in each of their voices, helping us to get to know the four of them. I think as the series continues we will continue to get to know them, and relationships will develop more. They are very protective of Tori and their connection to her affects them in ways they didn’t expect.
I loved some of sarcasm in the book. Between the guys, they get pretty funny. But also Tori when she was fighting she would get real sarcastic, kind of like Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Lol!!
This is going to be a great series!! I can’t wait for the next book!!
~I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
This genre is not my usual go to, but Siobhan Davis is one of my favorite authors, and I knew I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed! With the fabulous characters and sensual ease they show together, you can’t help but be drawn in and hooked. The dynamic and connection is so eloquently described and continually reinforced, you delve into each page and chapter with a hunger to find out more. The narrators nailed the presentation of the audiobook in such a way that you experienced the story, not just read it. Ready to continue their story with book two!
This is definitely not my normal Siobhan Davis story type- but of course, I should have known it would be amazing, because SD can truly write anything. I’ve not dabbled into her sci-fi series before this one, but I was so intrigued by the blurb, and I was curious about what she would do in the genre. Truth be told, I’m not hugely into sci-fi, and my paranormal tastes are a bit limited- so this was far outside of my normal… I mean alien RH?! But I am hooked on this series!
Our heroine Tori exists in a world full of aliens superior beings, but until a chance encounter with an alien, she was just normal. WAS- because now Tori is changing in very unhuman like ways, and suddenly four new students seem to have some sort of inexplicable connection with her. Her very planned and predictable life suddenly becomes very complicated- lines are blurred, truths are opaque, but destiny is undeniable.
Again, I’m not a huge sci-person, but I felt like I was able to keep up with the intrigue and sci-fi cannon (Siobhan keeps stuff simple and understable), and Siobhan keeps the romance front and center- tons of sexual tension and chemistry. And these characters are SO interesting and captivating – I can’t wait to spend more time with them and explore their connections further.
But what I loved most is that Siobhan somehow is still telling a relatable and complex coming of age story- alien or no, Tori is just like all of us when we were teens, trying to figure out who she is and what her role is in this vast universe we live in. Siobhan is so crafty at that- taking outlandish or unusual stories and finding ways to infuse the basics of the hallmarks of the human existence…even if in this case, our humans may be aliens.
The Lost Savior is like a lot of first books in a series. It sets up the world building, characters and adds some twists. This book starts with a bang and I’m definitely in to see where the journey takes this plot.
Where this author leads I will always follow! This first book in the Alinthia series does a wonderful job of setting the plot, building the characters, and keeping me on my toes. Davis’s ability to write in any romance genre is incomparable. While this series is one of her earlier ones it is no less perfect than her writing now.
Tori’s whole life has been “normal”. She fell in love with her best friend next door, and they are the perfect couple at school. Things seem to be going perfect in her life until a horrific encounter with a man who does things she has never seen. After a horrific car accident, her life is tossed upside down, and everything she thought she knew is a lie.
Four hot boys move into the town and become the talk of the school. They only seem to have their eyes on Tori, who only has eyes for her boyfriend. Soon Tori finds out just how crazy her past is, and how unnormal her life really is. With these four young men to guide her, Tori starts down the path to learning just who she really is, and what she could become.
I’m going to be honest from the start here. I don’t typically read paranormal anything because it’s just not a genre I enjoy. I decided to give this one a chance because I absolutely adore Siobhan’s books. I actually really enjoyed it and can’t wait to see what happens next!
To go from being a normal high school girl with the entire world at her fingertips, loving parents, perfect boyfriend, her squad of close friends, to finding out you are an alien with 4 super hot protectors bound to you would be quite the shock. Tori takes it in stride and tries to accept the fate she’s been given. The world building in the book was fascinating and really makes you question if there really is some other life out there.
Ok. I am going to preface this by saying that going into this book I wasn’t sure I was gonna like it. I’ve read very few alien romance that I liked. It wasn’t long before this author totally grabbed my attention. I liked how Tori and her boys had to come together to try and fight the enemy that is coming. I fully appreciated the fact that she didn’t just give over to them. There was a delicious push and pull between them. The angst of Beck and Dane who were so very different, but they both wanted her so much. Cooper and Maddox both were open to her in very different ways. This story drew me in, and before I knew it I was in love with all of them. I mean who doesn’t was 4 aliens protecting them, or a savior that could save all of us?
This story changed my mind on alien romance, and I am going to try and get my daughter hooked too. I believe she would love it too.
It was so easy to become immersed in this world. Tori’s whole life has led her to this moment. Nothing is what it seemed. She’s not even the person she always believed herself to be. A chance encounter has just sealed her destiny. The truth is not always freeing. Sometimes it becomes the weight of the world on your shoulders.
Tori’s almost eighteen, has the perfect boyfriend and parents that love her. Her existence, as she knows it, is about to be turned upside down. When four new guys arrive in town and show up at her high school, everything changes.
The guys are there for a purpose and she seems to be their sole focus. She just wants to know the truth about what they want.
This story is riddled with suspense and off-the-chart sexual tension. I was immediately caught up in the story. Tori has only just discovered her purpose, but there is more. The four guys who have come to be an essential part of her future, each fulfill a unique void. I am just waiting for the tension to reach its peak and I cannot wait for the fall out. I look forward to book two as I binge this sci-fi romance series.
I am so stoked to read the rest of this series!!!!!
This is a full length, set up book for an incredible series that is sucking me in fast!!!!
A slow build to a very intense story.
Tori is just finding out who she is, what she is capable of and how it will affect not only her and her family but the entire universe.
I was not expecting all the different emotions that came with reading this book.
A reverse harem style that had my emotions all over the place. Trying to imagine how Tori must feel knowing her entire life has been a lie and she is putting all her loved ones at risk by just existing.
Be prepared and have Book Two handy, you’ll thank me later!!
So I’ve been putting this book off for 2 years. I kept seeing and thought how interesting it sounded but it being about Aliens threw me off. I’m not an Alien book reader. But OMG y’all. I was missing out.
4.5 stars. This books is amazing. I’m so glad that I finally gave it a try.
Gosh, where do I start with this book. Victoria (Tori)/Alinthia is faced with some life changing and altering situations that wont just disappear like a bad nightmare. One minute she’s a normal teen and the next, her life as she knows is changing rapidly whether she agrees or not.
Tori is such a brave young lady and so very thoughtful; those that she love are always her priority. Siobhan’s crafted such a realistic world for Tori, Dean, Cooper, Maddox, and Beck. We do get a peak at the guys POV but this book is mainly centered around Tori POV.
I couldn’t put this book down once I started. It is a slow burn but that’s ok, I love that we’re focusing on Tori and her situation that would be hard on just about anyone. This book is full of angst, action, mystery, twist, and some unpredictable moments.
I highly recommend this book. FYI, this is a book one of a series if it wasn’t already obvious. I cant wait to read the rest of the series and see where Siobhan takes Tori/Alinthia.
Omg this book was sooo good! If you’re a Siobhan fan then dive in. It is all her humor, angst, hotness. Diving into book 2 now!
This book was definitely a change for the other books I’ve read by Siobhan. With that being said she made me fall in love with Tori’s story and would highly recommend reading this chance encounter with an alien.
I’m not usually one for PNR but every now and again I find one that I love, defy the case with this book. I love Siobhans writing and her characters and she didn’t disappoint! Can’t wait to read the next one!
I could not read this fast enough! The Lost Savior had all the fantastic sci-fi I’ve come to expect from Siobhan Davis, incredible word-painting so that I really feel I can see the story in my head, and emotion that felt so real even though we’re dealing with aliens with powers.
I really feel like I’m too old for young-adult novels, so I always go in kind of cynical expecting to be let down by all the high school drama that comes with this genre, but I thought the fascinating story of learning Tori’s history and all her new struggles really helped make the drama balance out for the most part. The only thing that really took me out of the story for just a few seconds was some of the slang/phrasing that just didn’t sound quite like something a teenager would say, but it’s not something that I felt was enough to give more than a brief thought to before moving on.
I’m so curious to find out what happens next I audibly gasped when I realized I was at the end and would have to wait for the next one.
Seriously, I can’t wait for the next one, how do I get an ADVANCED advanced reader’s copy???

I couldn’t put this book down! It immediately sucked me in. I have no idea what I’m going to do until March when the next one comes out.
After running into a stranger while dress shopping with her friends Tori starts changing. Her boyfriend and friends start worrying about her and then four new guys move into town at start going to high school with her. Tori is drawn to them. This makes her boyfriend Jensen upset and jealous and makes her school gossip. What exactly is Tori? You have to read the book to find out.
Siobhan Davis has done it again on another page turner. She nails the characters and a story line that pulls you in from the first word on the page. You will not be disappointed with any of her books and I highly suggest that you get the first book of any one of her series and you will immediately drawn in to the lives of the characters and want to finish the whole series in one setting.
This book had me hooked from the first chapter. I have to be honest and admit I had not previously read anything by Siobhan Davis but she truly has a way with words. Having delved deep into the reverse harem genre I was not sure what to anticipate from this book. But the storyline and character development was well thought out and definitely a smooth read. Highly recommend to anyone who likes a little paranormal and a little love grouping… Would also recommend if you are a fan of the Superman/Supergirl series as the main character Tori (Alinthia) is but a girl who lives a humble life before finding out she is not quite all human and had been sent to Earth for her survival…
I am voluntarily reviewing an advance, complimentary copy of this book
I love reading Siobhan’s books because you can actually see her become better and better with each book.
Now, I’ll be honest with you. I struggled with the beginning. It definitely was not my favorite and I thought I was going to have to suffer through it but no it got much much better. Thank the gods. So right off the bat we get thrown 5 names and brief bios of them which was way too much all at once I kept getting confused who was talking and who they were, obviously we get to know them individually later so it was not a problem then. From there it was just a lot of eye rolling. Either with Jensen and hers corny relationship or her just being totally cool with everything happening. But alas, everything gets so much better once the boys cause chaos. Which is funny, I’m thinking Siobhan has a thing for lots of boys now after the Kennedy boy series haha. And even though there was one really aggravatingly dumb part
SPOILERS BELOW
[ the boys are there to protect her so they would never not leave a brother behind to watch her I’m sorry I don’t buy it. (hide spoiler)]
it was still really good. Bravo!

The Lost Savior is an incredible start to the Alinthia series. If you have read any of Siobhan Davis’ other books, you might find it to have elements that Siobhan is known for having in all of her amazing stories and then some. I have never read reverse harem before this one, so I am not much of an expert, but I will say that the theme is very tastefully done. This is not even close to a trashy romance novel, so if you are looking for that, you will not find that here; however, you will find a beautifully written and very slow-building(=loads of tension—yum!) romance with my favorite kind of science fiction creatures—aliens. I wouldn’t say that this solely revolves around romantic relationships because we get plenty of action and interesting as well as amusing supporting characters, but let me tell you, the guys are hotter than hot. I also adored Tori’s character because she is tough and sexy (but not overly so) which results in all the boys dying to get with her while all the jealous girls wish they were her (myself included), and I can’t wait to see her develop into the super strong butt-kicking heroine she is destined to become over this series.
The guys are all delicious and the best part is that they are so different from each other both physically and mentally. You will have fun immediately picking your favorite, but if you are like me once you reach the end, you will be wishing Earth allowed relationships such as theirs. I loved these boys and you will too!
Siobhan gives us little tastes of evil with some of the creepy aliens that are introduced; however, we don’t get to meet the biggest villain quite yet. The ending provides a glimpse at this person, and wowww I can’t wait to see where Siobhan takes this one!
Now that I mention the ending, it is important to note that it IS a cliffhanger, but it is by far the best one I have ever read. It will give you chills and your imagination will run wild as you ponder who, what, when, where, why, and how. I can’t wait because I know it will be phenomenal. I already know that I do not want this series to end anytime soon!
