I very much enjoyed this book, and could not put it down until I finished it.
The book gave a plausible description of something that may have happened to Jane Austen, in her own voice. It satisfied the part of me that had yearned for her to have known a great love.
I enjoyed the book far more than I expected to. It was wry, amusing and altogether satisfying.
