Roseanna White Debuts Sparkling British Historical RomanceBrook Eden has never known where she truly belongs. Though raised in the palace of Monaco, she’s British by birth and was brought to the Grimaldis under suspicious circumstances as a babe. When Brook’s friend Justin uncovers the fact that Brook is likely a missing heiress from Yorkshire, Brook leaves the sun of the Mediterranean to travel … to travel to the moors of the North Sea to the estate of her supposed family.

Only when Brook’s life is threatened do they draw close–but their loyalty may come too late to save Brook from the same threat that led to tragedy for her mother.
As heir to a dukedom, Justin is no stranger to balancing responsibilities. When the matters of his estate force him far from Brook, the distance between them reveals that what began as friendship has grown into something much more. But how can their very different loyalties and responsibilities ever come together?
And then, for a second time, the heiress of Whitby Park is stolen away because of
the very rare treasure in her possession–and this time only the servants of Whitby can save her.

I absolutely love reading books by this author. I really enjoyed the premise of this book and adored Brooke. Justin drove me nuts, which could very well just show how amazing Roseanna White wrote the the story. But I found Justin to be super annoying. I did enjoy the rest of he book really well.
Enjoyable reading. Many family secrets abound in this tale. Of course greed and deception are easily twisted into our everyday lives. Looking forward to reading the continued story.
I prefer ispirational Christian books.
This was the first Roseanna M. White book that I read. I was hooked on her books from that point on.
Enjoyable
Enjoyed every page.
Very good characters!
The Lost Heiress tells of a beautiful woman, kidnapped as a baby from a late 19th century British royal house. When she’s discovered as a young, well-educated, French-speaking woman, intrigue and envy follows her everywhere. So does danger. This is a fascinating story of this fictional heiress, attempting to reestablish her life while discovering herself and what she truly wants out of life.
A very good read, kept me reading late at night when I should have been sleeping!
The story had a ring of truth, to go to a wealthy family in England, would be hard for a common person. But the early life she had in the Princes home, prepared her for the high society life. Good read.
A very interesting book.
Loved this story! I hadn’t read a historical romance for several years because they all started to sound the same This one sounded different and happily I was right. There was romance, mysteries, secrets, and villains all written in a very fresh way. It was hard to put down and couldn’t wait to read more. A very enjoyable read!
Excellent, and originally written by a young girl! Loved it.
Great book, even though it’s a cliffhanger. Will read the next book for sure!
I enjoyed this book very much.
Loved this book and couldn’t put it down until I finished it.
Wonderful! Loved reading this!
An epic story I enjoyed thoroughly.
First off, thank you for the kindle promotion otherwise I would have missed this wonderful story.
Brook Eden could just well have been a living person that’s how well the author has penned her life’s story down. The fact that the author has written the book at the age of fourteen makes it even more remarkable. Written with so much maturity and compassion I was honestly bowled over and struggled to put it down. It is honest and real in every topic from love to fear to faith it touches. It makes you think and fathom the works of the Lord. Having steadfast trust in a God that loves completely.
It is filled with passion, intrigue, adventure and secrets that keep you turning the pages and a book I definitely will recommend whoever I talk with.
Brook grew up in Monaco thinking she was the illegitimate daughter of an opera singer and Prince Louis Grimaldis making her the granddaughter of Prince Albert who adored her. When her “mother” passes away pieces of her true past come to light. Her childhood friend, Justin, future Duke of Stafford, is set on a mission to find information about her real father with letters that had a family crest on his next trip to England. Justin and Brook have loved each other for a long time but know that a romance between them is impossible since she is not nobility so they settle on friendship.Justin finds her biological father and the families secrets come to light for both Justin and Brook. The romance between Brook and Justin grows as the world around them falls apart. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the sequel and the unending curse of the fire eyes diamonds (blood diamonds).
Brook Eden may be a woman ahead of her time, but she is certainly a kindred spirit. This spunky girl has a knack for trouble, so its a good thing she has a friend like Justin at her side! Having my reading interrupted by work and sleeping was a real drag! Roseanna White writes a great historical novel with just the right amount of suspense and adventure! I can’t wait to see what happens next with her pesky heirlooms!
