Ms. Herbert gave us a thrilling romance full of passion and adventure. This fast-paced page turner kept me intrigued from the very beginning. I couldn’t put it down!
The characters were so well developed I felt like I’d known them my whole life. Drake is the epitome of Alpha male. He’s sexy, protective, and stubborn. And though he’s lost on what exactly being a dad means, it’s obvious he loves his daughters. So much so, his desperation for finding his missing daughter, Daphne, leads him to put his personal feelings aside and seek out help from a woman from his past. A witch who’s intelligent, sassy, beautiful, and knows how to keep Drake on his toes. I loved Drake and Tansy. The chemistry between those two sparked off the pages. And their banter had me laughing out loud.
Five stars! From beginning to end!
Only Time Will Tell……
This story is proof that one should never let others old prejudices control ones life to the point that it interferes with your own future happiness. As Dragon Drake discovers almost too late.
Tansy has lived years with the hurt that Drake inflicted on her when he left her because she is a witch, now years later he seeks her help and she discovers that time never diminished her feelings for him.
Will Drake have a chance to rekindle the love that he and Tansy shared years ago and give his twin daughters a mother?
First let me state, I received an Advance Reader Copy, (ARC), but this in no way influences my review. I always leave an honest review.
Wow awesome story. Drake is a strong, stubborn, sexy dragon shifter who gets custody of twin teen girls he never knew about. He seems cold, but that’s just the type of man he is, gruff. Now add in a daughter missing, and an ex who’s the love of his life, as well as a witch, & the fireworks begin. I recommend this read. 5 Thumbs up.
Drake Avers is a dragon shifter trying to take care of the 16 year old twin daughters he never knew about until their mother died and they came to live with him. When his daughter Daphne sneaks away with one of his security guards he’s determined to get her back. And then he receives a ransom note for her and his only thought is to get to his daughter. To accomplish that he decides to go see an old flame.
Tansy is a witch who can locate missing people. At first she is reluctant to help Drake. After all, they did not part on very good terms. But Drake’s sincere desire to find his lost daughter persuades her…she’s just not sure if the hard part will be finding Daphne or being around Drake. And when/if they do find her, will they be in time?
I thought this was a very good book; a real page-turner. Drake and Tansy are good together and Daphne and Ruby are great additions to the story. I recommend it.
An exciting instalment of the Bad Alpha Dads series.
Drake Evers is a super rich dragon shifter who has recently ended up with the custody of twin 16 year old daughters, after their mother dies. Drake is out of his depth, and ends up even more so when one of the girls goes missing. To find her, he enlists the help of an old flame, a witch called Tansy.
This is a fast-paced, romantic, suspenseful read. I loved that the two main characters weren’t super young, as often seems to be the case in pnr, and had a history together. Drake is sexy and imposing, just as a dragon shifter should be, and Tansy is fearless.
If you’re looking for an excellent dragon shifter book by a talented author, you won’t need to look much further than The Lost Dragon. My only complaint is that I wanted more!
There is alot i could say about this book but the most important is if you love exceptional, stand out books then read this one. I absolutely loved it.
