Given ARC for my voluntary review and my honest opinion
I was lucky enough to have gotten a ARC copy of this book from the author. I am volunteering to leave this review. Fantastic book plenty twist and turns. Definitely a good read and a great series.
Chattanooga PI Harry Starke is tired, he needs a vacation, and he’s about to turn 40! His people want to celebrate his birthday and the party goes awry when Harry announces he’s taking some time off. A chance encounter with an old school mate and Harry’s vacation goes by the wayside. Brandon Beck went to school with Harry, back in the day. After a chance meeting in a bar he wants Harry to do a job for him and when Harry declines, Brandon leaves angry. The next day, Brandon is found dead, an “apparent” suicide, and Harry is the last person to have been seen talking to him! Once Harry starts investigating Brandon’s death, more bodies start dropping. Another fast pace, action packed thrill ride with Harry and his team. I love the Harry Starke Genesis series because Harry takes you back and you actually get to see how each character has grown. As an ARC ready for author Blair Howard, I was given an advance copy of this book for a fair and honest review.
