Mythology Lover book
I have always been a fan of Mythology, and this Norse Mythology is no different, even if it is twist of the original stories. This set is particular with the character of Loki. I have to warn you, this collection depicts most stories with situations that might be offending to some – explicit sex, cheating, rape and cruelty. The plot is well-written, world- building is great and masterfully made and has great character development. A very much engaging read for me. Recommended for those who love mythology with major twists.

The Loke Series Box Set: is amazing. I quote directly from the book:
“Welcome, reader. You’ve picked up a box set containing three novels (The Trickster’s Lover, The Wolf’s Lover, and The Trickster’s Song), three short stories (Claiming Thor’s Hammer, Winning Freyja’s Cloak, and The Trickster), and a novella (The Trickster’s Honeymoon). While the works are arranged in roughly chronological order — with the exception of Thor’s Hammer and Freyja’s Cloak — the stories themselves span centuries, and they tell of the relationships between the Norse god Loki and his various friends, enemies, lovers, and children. Please be warned that this series is ongoing, and it does not end within the confines of this box set. The next novel in The Loki Series, The Trickster’s Wife, will hopefully be released in the fall of 2019.”
I concentrated on the Loki books: The Trickster (prequel), The Trickster’s Lover, The Trickster’s Honeymoon, The Wolf’s Lover (about Loki’s son), The Trickster’s Song. I have read other books about Loki, but in this series, I could not help but fall in love the him. Yes, he is a troublemaker, but there is a method to his madness that others do not see or know about. He is more noble than people give him credit for. He is also more sensitive, has deep feelings and knows how to love even if that love is not returned. He is not given the respect he deserves and is treated like he has no feelings. He has witness more tragedy than any one being ought to. He has lived to learn from his mistakes. Deep inside his soul is a gentle person trying to get out and be loved for who he is and not who he pretends to be. Caroline is insecure. She has been fascinated by mythology since she was a small child. She grows up, goes to college and pursues the study of Mythology. When Loki appears in her life, it will never be the same. She is drawn into intrigue, adventure, danger and romance. This is a must read and I highly recommend this series. I loved them all!
As mischievous little devils, Loki takes the cake – and he isn’t so little either.
I simply loved this series – what these characters get up to is amazing. These stories are very readable and flow beautifully. Each character is well thought out and cunningly created and I loved every single one of them.
What’s not to love when one it being so well entertained!
I have read all four of these books and highly recommend them to lovers of unusual stories that will keep one reading.
