Once upon a time, in an alleyway in the slums of the City Of Lockes, a young and somewhat lonely boy named Sam Haversford turns a group of teenage douchebags into stone completely by accident. Of course, this catches the attention of a higher power, and Sam’s pulled from the only world he knows to become an apprentice to the King’s Wizard, Morgan of Shadows. When Sam’s fourteen, he enters the … he enters the Dark Woods and returns with Gary, the hornless gay unicorn, and a half-giant named Tiggy, earning the moniker Sam of Wilds.
At fifteen, Sam learns what love truly is when a new knight arrives at the castle–Knight Ryan Foxheart, the dreamiest dream to have ever been dreamed.
Naturally, it all goes to hell when Ryan dates the reprehensible Prince Justin, Sam can’t control his magic, a sexually aggressive dragon kidnaps the prince, and the King sends them on an epic quest to save Ryan’s boyfriend, all while Sam falls more in love with someone he can never have.
Or so he thinks.

I was not impressed by this book. The characters and their dialog was mostly boring
Brave writing and often hysterically funny.
had to make myself read past the first three pages but stopped by the 10th. Disgusting language peppers each dialogue.
Warning!!! This book contains VERY graphic language which is mostly gay oriented. If this will bother you, skip this book. If not, dive in. It’s hilarious and adorable.
This is the second worst book I have ever read ! It is a gay themed rewrite of the 1930’s Three Stooges.
not my type of book
This book is so well written, I didn’t want to put it down until I finished! It was a fantastic blend of story and romance and I can’t wait to read the sequel!
I have never read a book like! I enjoyed it and will read more of the series.
Loved this book so much. It felt like it was written by a drag queen D&D character with so much amazingness. It was so funny and the perfect amount of off color. Highly recommend!!
Absolutely hilarious! One of the most light-hearted, fun, angst-ridden, romps I have ever read!
It would be terrific for teens if the explicit scenes were toned down some.
Funniest book I have read in a long time.
This book made me laugh from the first page. A corny, funny, adventurous, love story.
Laugh out loud funny. There is homosexuality, profanity and magic, but I didn’t mind at all! Very well written!
I do not enjoy this genre.
Fantastic fantasy with a clueless but snarky-funny MC who gets into the most ridiculous trouble EVER.
Has a good story line and is suspenseful
Like a book version of the cartoon Adventure Time, only gayer and funnier! The dialogue in this book was outrageously funny, and the characters were all pretty likeable. It’s very different from any other fantasy book I’ve read (in a good way), not just because of the gay characters, but because the writing and story were unique and compelling. I would love to read more books like this!
Loved every page and every over-the-top character! Wonderful read.
Funny, but it takes a very liberal person to enjoy it…
