Many great characters made this book possible and that gave so much hard time to Dawn, to her family, and ever Kit. this was a story that will keep you hooked and entertain at all times.
The best part of the book definitely Dawn and Kit those two were very stubborn with past and future plans that were holding them apart but as soon as they lower their walls magic started to happened
very enjoyable story.
I loved the premise of this book right away–I’ve always been intrigued by lighthouses and who doesn’t love the mystery of a treasure hunt and family secrets and scandal?
I was drawn into the intrigue and mystery of the story when Dawn makes a hasty decision and wins the bid on a run-down lighthouse. The story kicks up when the mystery of a family secret and lost treasure enter the picture, add a few modern day pirates and a love story and you’ve got a nice read.
This was a light read with plenty of intrigue to keep the story moving, and the magical setting added to the distinct flavor of the book. The characters are well-drawn and for the most part likeable (there has to be a villain or two, right?) and the romance had just enough tension to keep it lively. I adored the parts about renovating the lighthouse–I imagined it well enough, but would love to see the inside!
This was a light, fast story to enjoy at leisure. I opted for the audio version and loved the narrator as well.
Now I want to buy a lighthouse and renovate it! Wow! What a great book! I fell hard for Starlight Cove. Wish I lived there!
What a great summer read to just sit back and savor. Feel the sand between your toes, hear the ocean and birds, smell the salt air and food and enjoy the people.

Then there is the lighthouse, still working, full of mold and junk that Dawn tries repairing. You learn alot about lighthouses, upkeep and how small towns work. The three handsome hunky hardware store guys are a hoot and the way Kailyn worships one in particular is sweet.
Kip sets out with Dawn to find the truth about the sunken ship and its treasure. And someone is threatening Dawn by leaving damage at the lighthouse…is it just one person?
Excellent plotting and secrets in the old lighthouse and also some of Dawn’s elders. Maeve dislikes Dawn on sight but why? Then there is Sal, reporter or not? Captain Ahab, a big dog in search and rescue. There is also Dawn and her need to forgive parents for the gypsy lifestyle she endured as they went off looking for treasures
Atmosphere galore, hunky guys, beach, lighthouse trivia and a love story going back ages between the disgraced Captain Frizie and his wife, Madeline. Enjoy!
Loved it. So happy to find easy to read and great characters with a real story. Wonderful!

This was an easy read, but kept my interest.
very entertaining
Enjoyed this book but the ending left me wanting to know more
Fast read. Keeps you turning pages.
I really enjoyed this book, I read it in almost one sitting. Never guessed who was vandalizing the lighthouse. Need to pick this book up and see if you can put it down before finishing it.
I picked as I live in northwestern Michigan where this takes place. I wanted to see if it was actual for the area. It was good. We have many lighthouses. I don’t think any are privately owned though. I found it interesting.
Enjoyable, quick read.
