It’s just a box of letters, right?
Words that were written a long time ago.
From a boy to the girl that he missed. From a man to the woman he loved. But what if those words carried more impact[AW1] than anyone realised? Will they finally give Georgia the closure she needs and lessen the guilt she battles every day? Or will everything she thought she knew about the boy and man who wrote them and the life they shared be forever altered? All will be revealed in The Letters. A story about life, love, and acceptance.
This novella is book 4 in the Carnage Series. Carnage books 1&2 and Marley should be read first.

Remember the crate of letters, Georgia had shipped to Australia. The timing was wrong so she packed them back to England with her unread. It appears that now it’s time to put things to rest and get the missing answers. Sean’s letters contain some heartbreakingly beautiful words, which create second guessing. There isn’t any doubting the love shared between Cam and Georgia, but is it enough? Will the letters bring her peace? Are some things better left well alone?
It took me forever to get the courage to read this, I wasn’t sure I could go down that road again. I had to psych myself up. The beginning exactly what I was expecting, here comes the waterworks but i did get a nice break with the kids and their parents an absolutely hilarious scene. It’s beautiful the letters raw and real, Cameron is such an understanding husband. I love that he doesn’t tell her to just get over it already because doesn’t matter how long ago it happened the pain and hurt are still there.
I’m so glad we got a glimpse of Cam and George married life and kids.
I really enjoyed this book. I’ll be honest and admit I don’t read blurbs/reviews and tend to go into a book blind so all I was expecting was a book with all of Sean’s letters in it but I was wrong, and instead got a fabulous story to go with some of the letters that were shared with us.
I think I fell for Cam just a little bit more – Georgia is so lucky to have such a wonderful husband by her side.
For someone who has gone through the most horrific and tragic of circumstances, I feel this book has just reinforced how hard it is for Georgia (although the author has always portrayed this perfectly in the previous books). I’m so thrilled that she has the support and love of an amazing family and friends.
I will start by saying I love The Carnage Series!! Wow! Lesley really outdid herself! Love The Letters!! Always love Georgia Rae, also love reading through Cam’s eyes. And oh, Sean’s letters. Always puts me in tears. I found myself crying, giggling and i always love Sean McCarthy, but The Letters made me see Cameron King in a different eye. Loved it!! Thank you Lesley for an awesome series! I can’t wait to read more!!
I’m right there , sitting with Georgia, Jimmy And Ash. Sipping wine, gossiping, crying , laughing gigglesnorting over ‘Gucci Coochies’and then I’m crying again.
This last installment validates the serendipity that payed a part in Georgia and Cam’s life. G is the Unluckiest Lucky girl and Tiger was there to swoop in and save her
It’s just a box of memories , but for G and Tiger it’s a Pandora ‘s Box .
It opens and there’s tears, laughter, sadness, guilt, frustration, insecurities and doubts that come pouring out.
Let the sleeping Tigers lie Georgia !
Build a bridge and cross over it.
