while generally predictable, there were some interesting twists. Still enjoyable.
rather boring
hard to follow story
Took me awhile to get into this. It was fairly predictable from early on, but a well-enough told story.
I loved everything about this book and would highly recommend it.
I really enjoyed this book. It was stories within stories within stories and yet was not at all confusing. I didn’t want it to end!
really enjoyed reading this period piece.
Awesome story-great read!
Wonderful from beginning to end!
Good story. I liked the characters very much
It is predictable and slow at the beginning. The last 25% of the book was a page turner as I cared for the characters and wanted the best for them.

A really great story it was hard to put down I was sorry when it ended very well written
This book was so good from start to finish. I loved every minute of it.
I enjoyed every minute of this well written, heart tweaking books! I highly recommend it!
This was OK. I was frustrated with the number of dead beat men. I guess it was crucial to the plot. Otherwise, well constructed.
A must read. Complex/clear Stott line. Solis character building.
I bought this because I used to live on the prairie in South Dakota. I read three chapters (three too many) and deleted from my kindle.
Well written. Fascinating!
Interesting to trace the letter through time. It was credible. I was not as awed by the book as reviews led me to believe I would be.
