Wonderful heartwarming story. Nicely written. Story takes nice twists and turns.
Loved this read. Well done.
Although at times it was sad. It made me care about the people and made me realize how our lives can be changed so easily by just one circumstance event.
If you like a neat plot Nicholas Sparks style. You’ll love it. I did
Great story, enjoyed the read.
Very enjoyable.
Great book
Good storyline, excellent characters, however, a bit predictable.
Very enjoyable!
Loved the twists and turns
great story
This book is loaded with graphic domestic violence. Its very heart wrenching. It does settle by the ending with a bit of happily ever after. Iif your sensitive to wife beating this isnt a book for you.
So sad. I’m so glad that it showed a powerful lesson how a father’s disregard of his own family because of his own pride just left him broken and alone in the end.
Would be a great hallmark movie
I almost put this one down. I just couldn’t accept the first part of this book. I carried on and liked the end. I would give it a 2.5 but not a full three
I love historical fiction that makes a connection to the present. I thought this was well written and I had a hard time putting it down.
Easy read, romantic premise, a past-present timeframe, and reality thrown in for balance…good, quick read. No surprises, but that was ok.
I really enjoyed this book. Easy read.
Twist ending that I didn’t see coming … I usually can.
Couldn’t put it down! I loved the way it went from one time period to another. The characters were so engaging. It’s one of those that you didn’t want to end. Recommended this to my sisters and they loved it too.
