Unusual story about a unread found letter. Maddie found the letter and pursued the owner and met the nephew Gil. A different and sweet story about a small town and a lost love.
Good read!
A letter found in her grandmother’s desk led to a search for “Jo” and “O,” two lovers from long ago. Familiar characters include Rebecca and Larry at the B&B, D at the Feed and Seed, Owen, and. Gil’s sister Bella. Gil and Maddy are the main characters, and they meet with Gil’s great Aunt Josephine to start unraveling the letter’s mystery. This novel is romantic in several ways, and is a great book to read.
Very good and quick read. Characters are realistic and interesting. A love story is one of my favorite reads.
This was a fun book to read. The characters were very believable and the story was interesting. What fun it would be to find a letter from very long ago and finding the person to whom it was written, it would be so exciting.to solve the mystery.
It was a light bedtime read. Enough little twists to make me rethink if I really had it figured out.
The characters were good, would like to spend time with some of the secondary characters.
Well worth the read.
A wonderful collection of the past to the future. Loved it kelp my interest right there !
Loved it!
Loved this book. Kept me interested
This ties together so many stories into one realistic small town epic. I read the earlier book also and it was great, too.
EXCELLENT READING FOR FUN.
I would read this book again
Was a very interesting book, with some back history.
Just a pleasant story
I loved the setting of a small town feel where people care about each and help others. The story idea of finding a love letter from long ago was intriguing to me. Margaret finds a letter in her grandmother’s desk and sets out to find out who the letter was to and from. She heads to Comfort Crossing, hundreds of miles from home to find the answer. I found that kind of unrealistic. Also, the fact that Gil, a stranger takes off of work to drive her to meet his aunt, who the letter was addressed to doesn’t seem likely. Other than that I enjoyed this sweet story.
this book was very easy to read and thoroughly enjoyable.
Enjoyable read. Puts me in mind of a Sparks’ novel.
A beautiful love story, enjoy reading this book
Excellent book, it’s one of those stories you just want the story to continue long after it comes to an end
This is an original and interesting plot. The end was predictable yet charming.
