This is one of my favorite all time collections. mystery, suspense, thriller, romance, supernatural. The series is a Christian Ministers’ opinion on how the End Times, the Book of Revelations and the second coming of Christ could play out according to his interpretation of scripture.
Book one, Left Behind starts with the rapture (an event where all living believers will be instantly transported to heaven, by God, ahead of the tribulation period).
This series will introduce the reader to an amazing group of individuals who band together to glorify God in all they do as they learn to follow His Word in a world that is now being run by the antichrist and a society that actively pursues, punishes and beheads follows of Jesus Christ. Not for the faint of heart, this series has touched the hearts and souls of many Christian and non Christians alike.
(As a side note, I checked the biblical references, and found that although the series is fictional, the biblical references seem spot on and this led me into a deeper study and then understanding of the End Time Events.)
thrilling page turning book based on the book of revelation……..an absolute must read
Of All the books I have ever read, The Left Behind Series is my All-Time Favorite. You will never read a better Series than This One…..
Loved it!!
The entire series was awesome. It what I imagine when reading Revelations chapter in the bible. It also aligns with our current political situation in America.
The book of Revelation, from the Bible, is played out within these books. With fantastic characters, who were warned about the coming rapture but didn’t believe enough. Their faith was found lacking so they were left behind to try to survive until the Glorious reappearance of the Lord. Many died along the way Alan’s even those who made it through, were amazed by the wonder of Gid! Well written an researched, they even played some mental games with the compulsive readers. Certain things keep appearing and there is a reason but it’s up to you to figure it out.
I loved the series. These books changed my life and the way I want to live for the better.
Great and scary
Some of the best books ever wriiten
People disappeared everywhere. Follow the stories of those left behind.
The books are based on the end times that are talked about in The book of “Revelation “in the Bible. The story line is done. It’s hard to put a book down once you start reading it.
ENJOY!
As a debuting author in the Christian Fiction genre, the Left Behind Series had a tremendous influence on my life as a young man. I only hope to have half the impact in my writing career as Pastor Tim LaHaye and Mr. Jerry Jenkins have had in there respective careers.
Would highly recommend to anyone. Absolutely wonderful series!!
This is a good way to learn what the Bible is saying as to what we’re in store for. It’s very scary because we can see a lot of the signs are showing up all the time. Read it and see for yourself. It’s best to know what we’re in for.
I started this series not long ago and am already up to book #6 (Assassins) . If nothing else it is thought provoking. At least it was to this reader. Will probably end up finishing the series.
Starts out good but the bad guys become almost comical
