It was okay. I found myself wondering if the authors view of the pandemic wasn’t just a little to optimistic. It did ,over all, give me a different perspective on survival.
Very different story line, kept me guessing where it was going. The beginning is a real horror story that leaves you breathless. Faye’s determination to get home drives her through the tragic scenes she must deal with. Her ability to stay sane is admirable. Loved Dodge. He was one of the ‘hero’s’ of the story. Hard to put this storyline down!
I lost interest. Think I’ve read before or one almost like it…
Good storyline harmed by tween level writing.
Enjoyed it very much. I hope there will be a sequel.
His was a very enjoyable read and I’m looking forward to the next book. The only thing I didn’t like was how naive and idealistic one character was. Seriously, if I was in that situation, I really wouldn’t assume everyone is kind and not opportunistic. I would think SOMEONE will try to take advantage because human nature is that way. There are always outliers. Maybe in book two, there will be an awakening.
Am Impactful opening as good as Mr. S. king would do.
I loved the storyline. Very original and great characters. I highly recommend this series.
Has some nice plot twists.
Fun read. Kept me reading to find out what was going to happen to the last women.
Grabs you from the very start. I found it to be quick and easy reading. I actually felt more invested in the character Dodge. He was fascinating. I enjoyed that it had a different spin than a standard zombie novel. Always interesting to wonder what I would do in the same situation.
Apocalyptic novel that leaves me wanting more.
This was the most obnoxious character I have ever had to endure. She was argumentative, whiny, mean and seemed to glory in the fact that she was an alcoholic. Her family was killed by a drunk driver so she decides to cope by becoming a drunk herself. I could barely stomach her. Not my idea of a heroine at all. Everything that happens is just another excuse for her to drink. I actually deleted this book.
When the worst thing imaginable happens, things may get even worse. Self-medicating with alcohol is no solution, but it can be useful to shutdown for a space. With nudges from well-meaning friends, hope may show up again.
I couldn’t put it down. It had some twists but the romance was real. It took a long time for them to get around to it. No rush.
Very good story. I went right out and bought The Last Woman 2?
Good book to make you think what if…
Liked the book but felt there should have another book since I felt the ending left me hanging. I hope there will be another book & if there is I will certainly read it!!
Very interesting read
I likes both of these books.
