Charlotte knows she’s been a spy her whole life, but exactly what she’s done as Canada’s top agent is still fuzzy. But she’s still the best of the best, and that includes training new recruits Tenley and Pippa for a life working for NIIA. Living without her memories hasn’t slowed her down, and neither has been married to Ham Short, the head of the covert spy organization. Charlotte’s never even … even thought of doing anything else, until Ham asks the question. Children?
Now Charlotte has the distraction of thinking about her future at the same time as her past pays a visit in the form of an old love she never knew existed. All this happens as she’s faced with her most difficult mission yet—cooking Christmas dinner.
Grab a seat at the table for the final Charlotte Dodd story and discover why she’s Canada’s favourite spy.

Action Adventure, Christmas and Family
n this episode, our heroine uncovers more memories and continues to re-create herself into who she wants to be. It would be so weird to forget all of our past and to only recover the memories in bits and pieces. I have enjoyed this entire series about a kick-butt woman spy. I received this ARC book for free from Booksprouts and this is my honest review.
All about secret agents. This is the only book I read of this series. The characters are easy to like and well described. I feel that the story is set far into the future, as downloading one’s memory into someone else is so far removed from the possibilities that the present state of neuroscience can offer. Almost all the characters are positive heroes and heroines, on the side of the good and the righteous. Life-saving secret agents, moral characters, all young and beautiful.with a happy and loving outlook on life, never tired of coming to the aid of the weak, leaving injuries in their wake that will take well over 4 days to heal. The book, once you put aside certain aspects of the plot, is really about friendship, loyalty and being someone that others can rely on.

I will be sad to say goodbye to Charlotte. In The Last Stand of Charlotte Dodd, it is nearly Christmas. There is more thinking and less action in this book, but it has all the best things you have come to expect from this series. AS she begins to think about having children, Charlotte needs to save an old love she does not remember. With the usual banter, plenty of action and a Christmas dinner that won;t soon be forgotten this book is a fitting end to the series.
The best Charlotte Dodd ‘s book by far. Full of fun, mystery, challenges and a whole new life for the best Canadian spy ever. We will mis her.
With pieces of her past missing, Charlotte is having a bit of a hard time negotiating present dangers, and trying to keep an ex safe.
Her greatest challenge seems to be Christmas dinner- heaven help anyone who interrupts it.
In the end, she must trust herself and the truths she finds in her heart.
Humorous adventure spiked with poignant reflections and hopes.

A fantastic and surprising finale to a series that I have absolutely adored. Fare thee well, Charlotte Dodd. You have brought great joy to my life!
A great book to end the series!! We get to visit with characters from previous books and experience some final adventures with Charlotte! This can be read as a standalone though since the author does an excellent job of filling in the backstory for any readers that have not read any of the previous books in the series.

If you haven’t read the previous books in the series, no need to worry about being lost. The author has done a great job filling in the important information with the back stories. The characters are fun and interesting, the story line is entertaining and smooth flowing and pulls the reader in from the first page to the last page.

Fabulous finale to a fun series!
Even though I’m a bit behind on the series, the story still works okay. Important points from the backstory are explained, so even if you are like me and haven’t read all the other books yet, you’ll still have fun with the shenanigans around Charlotte, Ham, and the rest of the NIIA gang.
Bonus points for the quotes at the beginning of each chapter. 🙂
Favorite quote: “I have a bad feeling about this.” 😀
I loved The Last Stand of Charlotte Dodd! This book was engaging, exciting and fun! I love the characters and enjoyed their witty banter. The characters are interesting and have wonderful relationships and friendship. The book has action, adventure, humor, friendship, family and lovely Christmas moments. The book was exciting from the beginning and kept me entranced to the end. I could not put the book down.
While this book is the last in the series, it is easily a standalone book. This is the first book in the series that I have read and I really enjoyed it. I will be looking to go back to read the rest.
