Amber Patterson is fed up. She’s tired of being a nobody: a plain, invisible woman who blends into the background. She deserves more—a life of money and power like the one blond-haired, blue-eyed goddess Daphne Parrish takes for granted.
To everyone in the exclusive town of Bishops Harbor, Connecticut, Daphne—a socialite and philanthropist—and her real-estate mogul husband, Jackson, are a couple straight out of a fairy tale.
Amber’s envy could eat her alive . . . if she didn’t have a plan. Amber uses Daphne’s compassion and caring to insinuate herself into the family’s life—the first step in a meticulous scheme to undermine her. Before long, Amber is Daphne’s closest confidante, traveling to Europe with the Parrishes and their lovely young daughters, and growing closer to Jackson. But a skeleton from her past may undermine everything that Amber has worked towards, and if it is discovered, her well-laid plan may fall to pieces.
With shocking turns and dark secrets that will keep you guessing until the very end, The Last Mrs. Parrish is a fresh, juicy, and utterly addictive thriller from a diabolically imaginative talent.

This book was mildly interesting for the first half. The main character is tough to relate to. Then it took a wicked turn and made it tough to put down. Relating became easy after that. Excellent narrative.
Entertaining beach vacation read.
Was a good book
Misogynistic and predictable. The solution to divorcing your sadistic husband shouldn’t be to pawn him off an another woman, no matter how selfish she is. Do not read.
Good story, definitely keeps you turning the page! I admit I figured out the twist fairly early, but still a satisfying read!
I loved the twists in this book. It was very original and I really liked (hated) the characters!
SUCH A GREAT PLOT!!! Loved all the twist that came throughout the book. Once the story line really picks up you WILL NOT be able to sleep LOL. Great Thriller.
Interesting, but not my type of book.
Great twist and all is not as it seems!
My favorite book this year
This a great book!! A real page turner with lots of twists.
Light read and I really enjoyed the strong will of Daphne the wife to show the ability to take care of herself and her daughters.
This book holds your interest and you keep turning the pages to see what happens next. Easy to read. I read it in two part days.
I really enjoyed this book. It had a nice twist, though I did figure out the twist before hand only because it ended up being the same twist as another book I had just read. I still really liked this book a lot.
Interesting with many plot twists! I found this novel quite entertaining with a good ending too.
I really enjoyed The Last Mrs. Parrish. It’s a book that has a lot of twists and turns. It was a real page-turner for me. Amber, a girl from a simple background (you find out more as the book progresses), becomes friends with a beautiful wealthy woman who lives “the perfect life” — with a perfectly handsome, successful husband and two beautiful children. Amber would like to change places and the twists and turns begin.
Terrible book. Badly written, predictable, and unnecessary references to sexual and emotional abuse by a powerful husband.
The ending satisfies.
I didn’t think it was well written. Predictable.
Plot pretty interesting. Writing quite pedestrian
