Amber Patterson is fed up. She’s tired of being a nobody: a plain, invisible woman who blends into the background. She deserves more—a life of money and power like the one blond-haired, blue-eyed goddess Daphne Parrish takes for granted.
To everyone in the exclusive town of Bishops Harbor, Connecticut, Daphne—a socialite and philanthropist—and her real-estate mogul husband, Jackson, are a couple straight out of a fairy tale.
Amber’s envy could eat her alive . . . if she didn’t have a plan. Amber uses Daphne’s compassion and caring to insinuate herself into the family’s life—the first step in a meticulous scheme to undermine her. Before long, Amber is Daphne’s closest confidante, traveling to Europe with the Parrishes and their lovely young daughters, and growing closer to Jackson. But a skeleton from her past may undermine everything that Amber has worked towards, and if it is discovered, her well-laid plan may fall to pieces.
With shocking turns and dark secrets that will keep you guessing until the very end, The Last Mrs. Parrish is a fresh, juicy, and utterly addictive thriller from a diabolically imaginative talent.

Great story! Different & unpredictable. Loved it!
Good juicy page turner with unexpected twists. I enjoyed it !
Part one of the book seemed to just plod along until the last 20 pages. Part two was much more fast paced and part three was quick too. Characters with a twisted psyche make you stop and think before you jump into a relationship.
Interesting characters. Lessons learned: be careful what you ask for.
loved it
Kept me guessing and what a twist this story took while I wasn’t looking. This is a must read page turner!
This was an excellent book!
I enjoyed the book. It did keep my interest. However, I could not believe how naive people can be.
I think I have a new author to follow!
I loved this book. Unconventional and unpredictable. Couldn’t put it down!!!
Suspenseful. Surprising. A page turner.
Be sure you have plenty of time… you won’t be able to put it down!
a bit predictable
It’s good, until it gets really good!!!!
The characters were wonderful and the ending was a shock. Never expected it.
Starts a little slow but then you can’t put it down!
wow, just wow! I loved how this book just kept me turning the pages! One of my favorites!
Wow, can’t WAIT to see where we go next with THIS author
Like all main characters should, Amber has a goal. Her goal is to become filthy rich by marrying up. She sets her sights on Jackson Parrish an uber-wealthy real estate magnate. Only problem is, Jackson is already married, so she executes an intricate con to befriend Jackson’s vulnerable wife Daphne, insert herself into their lives, and then seduce Jackson into divorcing Daphne and marrying her.
But Amber isn’t as smart as she thinks she is. As a scammer, she should know that outward appearances don’t tell the whole story. The con woman is about to get conned…
Five stars! That said, I almost didn’t finish reading this book. It’s divided into 3 sections. Part I, from Amber’s POV, is about half the book. Amber is a completely unlikable character. She’s selfish, has no empathy for anyone, and carries a huge ship on her shoulder. She has no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I disliked her so much I almost set the book aside. But I took a peek at Part 2, which was Daphne’s POV, and the first paragraph sucked me in immediately. Once I got to Daphne’s part, I couldn’t put the book down.
Now, I’m SO glad I’d finished this book. The payoff is worth putting up with Amber! The Last Mrs. Parrish has the most satisfying ending of any book I’ve ever read.
