From the bestselling author of the Inner Movement trilogy and the Cosega Sequence, comes The Last Librarian, (book one of the Justar Journal).
In the year 2098, there is no more war, no more hunger and no more pollution. The world is secure and Earth’s 2.9 billion people are healthy and happy. There is also only one remaining library that still houses physical books. In addition to the dusty … addition to the dusty volumes, the library holds many secrets. But the government has decided to shut it down and burn the contents. Unless an unlikely trio can save the books, humanity will lose more than just what is printed on those antique pages.
With a single government ruling the entire planet, one currency, one language and no religion, the population is unified and enjoying the prosperity that comes with more than seven decades of peace. Free healthcare for all and guaranteed employment make the future a dream. But this future may only be safe if they can hide the past. The books must be saved . . . the impossible task is up to an angry author, a brazen revolutionary and the last librarian. When everything is perfect, the only thing left to fear is the truth.

A great testament to the danger of authoritarian government.
Great book!
Slow reading.
Sci-fi giving you food for thought.
Well written, interesting characters. A believable and chilling none too-futuristic novel
An interesting read about a utopian society with a much darker side. Hauntingly familiar subjects that make the reader question what they see occurring today in our developed societies. Reminds one of the question, “At what cost Eden?”
I really liked this book until the end because I felt, at that point, it seemed a little abrupt. There wasn’t much build-up to a main character dying or to the introduction of a double cross. It just ended.
Really engaging.
Could not finish reading the book, the great concept totally wasted by inept writer. Just re-read Fahrenheit 451 instead.
Great topic. Good action. A bit “game ofthrones” ish with loss of great characters.
Didn’t really care for this book…
It started too predictably and i lost interest quickly.
Memorable and something to think about
More twists than a mountain road and you never see them coming!
Captivating story that will leave you wanting more!
Sorry to see the main character get killed off towards the end of this book. Maybe the author had plans for where the storyline was going in the following books but I felt lost.
Very interesting story
The character development could have been better
Interesting concept
The story was original and there were regular surprises and twists to make sure the reading never got dull or overly predictable.
