A great evil comes to Narnia. Can good defeat it one last time? This is a different book for the series, and it certainly wasn’t the ending I expected when I first read it in 3rd grade. However, as an adult, I’ve come to love it because it reminds us that Heaven is coming. This is my second favorite in the series.

In this book the world of Narnia comes to a end. A disturbing evil takes over Narnia and leads to The Last Battle. The evil sounds too plausible and thus disturbing. I did not enjoy the first two-thirds of the book but was hooked. The last five chapters of the book are some of the most inspirational words I have ever seen. This could be Lewis’ …
