What could be better than a Landry love story? Three! I love this family and all the characters involved. I got all the fella listening to this collection and the narration brought them to life perfectly!
This is a great series! I absolutely LOVE this family and all their dynamics. They are fun and helpful (or aggravating) to each other. I did listen to this gem on audio. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are the narrators of all three of these. They addEd a extra element to the stories.
Sway-book 1
Loved this book! I think I was as stressed as Alison on whether she should date Barrett or not. I mean he seems as sexy as sin but there is that whole political thing he has going on. I really loved him! Granted he has a sordid past but is trying to make up for it now. Huxley is just adorable. How much he loves Linc over Barrett…haha! I think Barrett gets him on his side by the end though.
It was great meeting the whole clan! The relationship between these boys makes me wish to be a little sister. I can’t wait for Graham’s book. But next up in Linc’s. I listened to this on audio. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott narrated and do amazing as always. I wasn’t a fan of the music intros though. It just seemed weird.
Swing-book 2
This is a nice story but not my fav. I think I was hoping for more of the baseball issue and how he was coping. But there was just a bit.
I enjoyed Linc and his whole determination to win Danielle. I loved when he goes to Graham to get advice. Actually the whole family when they have get togethers. Very fun moments. It was great seeing Barrett, Huxley and Alison again. They added some fun to Linc’s story. Huxley was great!
Switch-Book 3
Office chemistry is one of my favorite reads. So I was excited to listen to this one. Graham is a bossy boss who struggles to shut it off during his downtime. Mallory is a old friend of the Landry family. She needs a job and Graham just happens to be in desperate need of an admin assistant. The fire between these two can be felt coming across my ears. I enjoyed watching Graham figuring out coming to terms with his feelings. Ford had a bigger role in here. I loved getting to see more sides of him. Family times are the best! There are more than a few in this story.
The Landry Family Series, Part One (Landry Family #1-3) was a great read by Adriana Locke. This box set consists of; Sway, Swing, and Switch. These books follow three of the strong alpha Landry males. I really enjoyed these stories and can’t wait to read more by Adriana Locke.
Amazing Series & Narration The Landrys are Awesome!
The Landry Family Series, Part 1 Series: The Landry Family, Book 1-3
By: Adriana Locke
Narrated by: Wen Ross, Kai Kennicott
Wow, this book is an awesome deal, it include three full length novels, they are all well written with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. Each book features a different Landry, the first three books of the series are of the brothers, each are their own person, driven in their career and 100% Alpha, we get to meet the sisters who are pretty amazing too. The first book “Sway” is Barrett Landry’s book, he is a career politician, currently a Mayor in Savannah but is aiming for the Governors seat. Alison is a single Mom looking to rebuild her life after a failed marriage. Alison was working for the caterer at a benefit when she caught Barrett’s eye, she wanted nothing to do with him but she intrigued him and he went on to pursue her. I loved those two together, also loved how accepting he was of her son Huxley and how he got his brother Lincoln, the professional ballplayer to hook them up with tickets and showing Huxley how to play. The second book is Lincoln’s book, I loved him in the first book and even more in his own. He is battling an injury trying to build up strength while healing, he does not want it end his career so he works it hard but is still faced with uncertainties, baseball is all he knows. He meets Danielle “Dani” while going to PT and he is intrigued by her, he tries to find ways to be near her but she finds ways to stay away. When these two finally got together, yes she fought it but when they did it was pure bliss. The third book is Graham’s book, he is the most serious and intense of them all, yes even more than Barrett. Graham is the CEO of Landry Holdings, he is great at what he does but he is an anal retentive control freak. His long time executive assistant left and he is having trouble filling the position, his sister recommends Mallory Sims, she has experience and will do a great job. Mallory is starting over she is coming out of a relationship and changing her life’s direction. She is happy to start a new job but her first day working for Graham does not go off without a hitch or two. She is on the quirky side and a little bit of a mess and best of all she throws Graham off balance. I just loved these two together, like oil and vinegar mix but give it a shake and it blends perfectly. Graham had a lot of issues, it was great to learn how he got to be the way he is. I also loved to hear his father explained how he had his hand in getting each of his kids to find their own strengths and focus on those careers. I loved each one of these books, they are enjoyable and entertaining with plenty of drama, great humor, a touch of angst and some hot romance. Adriana Locke, thank you for these wonderful books, the laughs and the emotional rollercoaster ride.
I listened to the Audible edition, Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are talented narrators and voice artists. They do an amazing job portraying each character, bringing them to life with their own voice and personality. I loved how they humanized them and made them sound just as I pictured them to. They set the perfect tone for each story and captured the characters emotions which could be heard in their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen
This is an amazing boxed set! All three books are beautifully written. Each book focus on one couple (Barrett/Alison, Lincoln/Danielle, Graham/Mallory), and the Series has characters intertwined. The family spirit in this Series is wonderful. Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed it, and I highly recommend it. This is a really great value! Looking forward to listen to the next book in the Series, Swear, Ford’s story! I love the Landry Family! #AudiobookObsession
