First stop, St. Louis, where the ladies discover their quarry went farther west five years ago. Resolute in their mission, Anne and Elise join a wagon train to Oregon. But … But will their prairie adventure turn into a Wild West nightmare?

Nice story. However I resent a story that remains unresolved unless you buy the sequel.
nice twist to a romantic story.
Great read
It was definitely a good historical romance book, not too heavy on the romance. It was very much about perseverance and overcoming obstacles and doing what was necessary to complete the journey.
I did like the characters. The story was interesting and engaging. Leads into the next book in the series for possible conclusion.
Unique take on a “Western” A fun read
Great read. Simple, but compelling story. Definitely unrealistic, but a delightful escape. In today’s time, it is hard to find a good story, with clean language, and a nice, steady plot. It wasn’t “brain dead” simple, yet still an easy read. Would love to read all the books in the series :).
I really liked the book. Even though I don’t like unending books, it had enough of an end that I was satisfied, but I still ordered the next book.
I enjoyed this easy read and am looking forward to the next in the series.
Really interested in stories of this era. I can just picture these characters moving forward right on thru the end of the book. Helps my attention.
I enjoyed it very much. Never read a book about tough, independent women coming from su h a different life, not just adapting to unknown new country and station in life but mastering their situation.
I liked this book because the characters were strong. The women weren’t the type who didn’t wait for others to wait on them, but were willing to pull their share of the load. They were open and honest about not knowing the way of doing things on a wagon train but were willing to get their hands dirty and share in the work as well as learn how to cook on the trail. They also knew when to ask for the help and didn’t let pride stand in the way.
Good history and scenic travel descriptions. My favorite part\\\eriod of American History.
Enjoyed this book, will read the sequel.
I liked i t I bought all three in the series.
Excellent book. Great characters, good story. I had a hard time putting it down. I cannot wait to read the next book in the series to find the uncle.
Loved this book in a series of three and highly recommend
Thoroughly enjoyed the theme and the historical research that went into it. The characters were life like and the women made the best of a hard journey.
Great book…holds your interest
educational in its own way…
