Right?

This is a stand alone in the vein of Mister O and Well Hung. What can I say? It’s a Lauren Blakely book, which means it’s pure fun and entertainment with sides of steam and sass. This one had me laughing out loud several times. It’s fun to watch Nicole and Ryder go from co-workers, to not really lovers, to parents, to a family.
Nicole’s biological clock is ticking. Well, to be exact, it’s turned into an alarm clock. She’s checked out sperm banks and artificial insemination. She’s troubled by the fact that you don’t know anything about your donor other than the bare basics. It is troublesome, you must admit. So, she and her BFFs decide to make a list of all the attributes a donor should have if you could pick your own. Low and behold, they pick someone exactly like Ryder Lockhart, Nicole’s co-worker.
Ryder’s career is tanking. It’s Titanic style tanking and he’s got a limited time to turn it around. He’s tasked with writing about the perfect date. He needs a partner in crime. Hmm, wonder if Nicole would be willing to be his partner.
Oh, you bet she would……. And a plan is hatched that will benefit both of them. Easy-peasy, no strings attached. What could possibly go wrong?
This is so much fun! The story is told from alternating POVs so you get the whole picture. The reading is quick and the writing is witty. A great summer read.
OMG what a great book to read! It was a really well written book based on a very unique idea. I laughed so hard in parts and I can’t wait to read more books based on other characters.
Your clock is ticking but you can’t seem to find “love”. You work at for a company that talks all the time about love and sex and love. Then all of a sudden it hits you. HIM!
Heart, Heat, Humor and Good Reads all things that made this book a 5 star read.
