“Taut, assured and reminiscent of Ruth Rendell’s psychological novels, Marwood’s second book more than lives up to the promise shown in her splendid debut, The Wicked Girls.” —The Guardian

A stupid book, much to much description and did not have the interest I thought would make a horror story. Very different and not to my liking. Boring.
Couldn’t put this down!
Slow moving, boring book filled with creepy people doing crazy, gory things. Would never recommend!
I didn’t !ike it disgusting!
This book was just OK. The characters were not well developed or explained. Relationships were formed throughout the book, but there was not depth. This book seemed very superficial. It was interesting and easy to read, just not very captivating.
If you’re looking for a kind of creepy story, this book is for you.
I Loved this book! I listened to this on audio—and I’ve found that listening versus reading can give a very different result in some cases. In this one, I have a feeling that I would have loved it either way. The audio had me rolling though! I know this wasn’t a humorous book—but the situations were so crazy I had to laugh! I hated for the book to end. It was perfectly creepy and gross and I loved it!!!
MUCH recommended!
