Loved this romantic Christmas story!
Trey was released early from prison, where he served time for the death of a man he was in a fight with, due to the man beating his girl-friend, and had fell, hitting his head and dying days later. The judge was tired of seeing Trey before him for fighting, and thought it was time he was made an example. During his time he did well in learning to contain his instant reflex reactions, and worked hard, thinking of MacKenna an his son TJ and how he wanted to do right by them, and to know his son and help his son grow up to be well respected, educated and caring.
Learning from his brother that MacKenna was getting married the next day was more then he could grasp, he knew if he had too, he could let MacKenna be happy, but needed to know he would always have his son. He had to get a promise from Mac that he would always be in TJ’s life. Trey tried to find her that night to talk, but couldn’t find her. Not sleeping that night, he finally knew what he needed to do, before it was too late, and Mac had to see he had changed. Dressed in his brother’s best suit, he made it to the church, and summed up the courage to go in, before it was too late, and talk with Mac about TJ, and get her promise concerning TJ, then he could let her go on and be happy, if that’s what she wanted.
Before he knew it, he knew he’d screwed up, once again, with TJ and Mac in her wedding gown, they were heading out of town. TJ was happy, he wanted his Dad. Mac, she wasn’t angry or anxious she wasn’t at her wedding, oddly, she felt relieved. So, there they were, heading out of town, and Trey knew he could possibly be in jail again by tomorrow. The next 7 days take Trey, Mac and TJ on a Christmas journey they would always remember, setting them on the path of a lifetime of love and ….family…that they all had been hoping for.
Excellent writing, a fast enjoyable read, that left me wanting more.
I totally loved. Second chance true love for a family
“The Kidnapped Christmas Bride” (nook) was full of angst. There were several times that tears were streaming down my cheeks because of the heartache. But, the intense love between Trey and McKenna was wonderful and heartwarming. Well worth the read.
I’m not saying it’s a bad title, but it kinda sounds cut and dried, when the story is so much more! Really a heart grabbing story that has you routing for Trey! Fun characters! I enjoyed it as much as the first in the series: Christmas at Cooper Mountain! Makes me ready to read the rest of the 6 book series!
Wow! Bad boy wins. This is an emotional holiday read. One moment you are in tears the next laughter as you learn the whole story about what lead Trey to his harsh actions all for the name of love.

Enjoy this series
Liking the series.
I loved how she was willing to give him a second chance with his family. He was the bad boy trying to be a good person.
I was disappointed in the writing, the plot, and the characters. There are few times that I force myself to complete a book … this was one of them!
enjoyed the way the story read. It seems like it could really happen that way. Am glad in the end there was happily ever after. would recommend it.
I had read other books in this series so was familiar with the characters. Pleasant read.
A “bad boy ” turned out to be a “good guy” This was a really easy to read book.
Enjoyed reading this one. Loved the ending.
