New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Lori Wilde’s heartwarming follow-up to her “page-turning and passionate” (Jill Shalvis) trade paperback debut, The Moonglow Sisters, takes readers back to Moonglow Cove, Texas, with a story of twin sisters separated at birth who are reunited under unforgettable circumstances
It was a story that couldn’t possibly be true: Identical twins, separated … story that couldn’t possibly be true: Identical twins, separated at birth. Anna Drury wouldn’t have believed it, but the woman standing before her was physically alike her in every way…and held in her hands a keepsake baby bracelet, the same as Anna had. How could it be?
Anna—with her tall, strong husband and two adorable children, grew up loved and secure, and she freely opens her heart to others, so she embraces the idea of her new-found sister, Amelia. Everyone tells Anna to tread carefully, but Amelia is family, she sees it in the other woman’s face and knows it in the depth of her soul. And family should always be welcome.
Once the shock settles and the dust clears, the sisters learn about each other as they unravel the secrets of their past and separation. Anna wants to believe that life with her new-found sister will be perfect, but just as they are bonding in a special way, Amelia reveals the true reason for their reunion. Her kidneys are failing, and Anna could be her perfect match.
But if Anna agrees to her request it might threaten everything she holds dear, her marriage, her health…even her life. Faced with this dilemma, Anna must ask herself a hard question, how far will she go to help her twin, the woman who is her other half…and a woman she doesn’t really know?

I read this book in about four hours. It was purely a chicks flick kind of read, but it was definitely something I needed at this time. It is the story of a set of twins, separated st birth, one who is raised in a very modest but very loving family and the other one is raised in an extremely wealthy and very cold family. The only thing about them that makes them twins is their looks – or so they think. They really have a lot more in common than they think. The wealthy twin has an ulterior motive in searching for her long-lost twin. Her appearance causes all kinds of questions and upheaval. How it gets resolved makes for a good story. It also makes the one sister learn how to stand up for herself.
Loved the listen, except felt that the author could have done better and given more accurate info re live organ donation. So many inaccuracies that would have scared me had I read prior to surgery. Yes I know this is fiction and yet a more accurate portrayal would have been nice. Really did enjoy. Great narration.
I’m reading this book now and am enjoying it.
Makes you question what would I do in this situation.
I tried, I really tried. The premise is great but its on shaky ground when it starts and I got 60 pages in, and found I really didn’t car
What a beautifully written book by Lori Wilde. It’s heartbreaking, heartwarming, emotional, funny. Anna & Amelia are twin sisters that were separated at birth. Their story begins when Amelia needs a kidney & after finding out her sister is alive, goes to find her to ask her for a kidney. It’s an emotional journey for the twins & all of the family that are left dealing with the repercussions of what Anna’s father & nurse Winnie did. Such an incredible, amazing book!!
Unique and awesome from a very talented author. It kept me turning pages trying to discover what happens and how the title fit into this spellbinding story. Caution: Weaves the covid pandemic/death into the story that I, w personally, I’m not ready for.
THE KEEPSAKE SISTERS, book two of the Moonglow Cove series by Lori Wilde, is a heartwarming story about sisters separated at birth. It is not a happy reunion Anna thought it would be when Amelia reveals the truth behind her visit to Moonglow. Lori Wilde is a superb storyteller in creating this story about a family being there for one another, and how love overcomes obstacles in the lives of her characters. THE KEEPSAKE SISTERS is an emotional journey about twin sisters who are different as night and day and how they find inner strength, love, and forgiveness when they learn the truth of their pasts. The twin’s story made it impossible for me to stop until the last page. Keep a box of tissues handy because you going to need it.
This book is a keeper. Ten star rating is what it should be given, from the first chapter I was held enthralled. It kept me turning the pages, and yes some surprises I was not expecting along the way. I won a copy of this book in a Goodreads giveaway, I am so grateful for this awesome read thanks Goodreads.
Anna Drury is completely beside herself, the woman standing before her is a spitting image of her and is claiming that they are twin sisters. Then she looks at the woman’s hands and sees the same baby bracelet she had when she was born, and she instantly knows her story has got to be true. Everyone around Anna is skeptical of Amelia’s story and questions her true motives for showing up after all these years. But Anna can’t help but be drawn to her… she wants to help her, she is her sister. But how much will her help cost her?
The Keepsake Sisters is a captivating and emotional tale of family, sisterly bonds, and second chances. This one brings us into the lives of two women who shared birth parents, but nothing else after. They were raised in separate worlds, live completely different lives, and the one thing that unites them is their DNA. Watching them learn each other’s secrets, habits, strengths, weaknesses, and build a bond was quite entertaining. I could not put this one down, the words drew me right in and I had to know how it would all end for them! I highly recommend you take a chance on this one, what you find waiting for you between pages is bound to touch your heart and stir up your emotions!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased opinion.
I received this book as an ARC through Goodreads.
I found this book to be a delightful, emotional, ride of a story. It felt at times like riding on a wave and then crashing on the shore. So lovely and heartfelt. There were so many facets to main story that it never had a boring or flat moment. In a time when the world has been turned up-side-down for far too long a warm, embracing, happy ending story feels good.
