This book was so good! I adore all of the characters and the originality of the world! I am anxious to read the next book bc I have no doubt it will be just as good, if not better!
I found a kinship with the MC and her insecurities. It was refreshing that she wasn’t totally confident and sure of her abilities. I highly recommend this book and will be checking out the author’s other books!

This book starts a new series in Chosen circle. Effie’s book will take you on an emotional journey of her trying to find out what her visions mean and what she can do to help Helena and the others. She is meets Kieran whose is her tutor, Lucian and Kael are her guardians. With each page and word you read it gives you more insight as to what Effie is going thur and sometimes it’s funny and sometimes is sad and will make you cry. Amazing read can’t wait for the next one.
Omg y’all! This book is EVERYTHING! I have been a die hard fan of this storyline since Helena’s first book and I honestly didn’t think I could love The Chosen more but Effie’s journey has me over here all pumped and ecstatic! It was definitely an emotional rollercoaster for me but it was one I more than enjoyed. I’m so excited to see where book 2 take Effie and her band of comrades! And all I can say for Lucian is YUM! I licked him first ladies, hands off! Lol.
Just… WOW!!! What a read!!! Captivating and engrossing right from page one, Amazing plot twists, excellent characters, this book kept me reading well into the night. I can’t wait to see what comes next!
I really enjoyed this book! The storyline was well developed, the characters were complex and well developed and the story world was detailed. The writing drew me in and I felt immersed in the story! I always enjoy books by this author and would recommend this book!

Effie is the main character is this story that is full of action, danger, magic and a cool story. It was fun to watch Effie come into her own as she learns and grows in her talents and magic. The other characters were also interesting and fun. The story draws you in and kept me me reading to the end to see what would happen next.
Effie has so much sassy in her little body but you can’t let her size fool you. She will no longer be pushed around and ran over no matter anyone’s size or title. Kieran and Lucian keep me going on a love them and then want to throttle them. I think I have finally picked a side but I will not tell you who just yet. Fully of action and intrigue. Can’t wait to read the next one to see how this war will continue and just how the tides may turn. Plus I want to know some many of the secrets that all of them are keeping.
I once started in this series with part 2 and found that it was difficult for me to get into the story. Now I was able to read an ARC of Part 1 and I’m glad I had the chance. Just a little more information that I missed when I read part 2. The nice thing about reading this part was that I had more information and knew where it was going to lead. Then you will already read small clues in this part that become clearer in other parts.
This part is a great start to the series The Keepers.
You meet Effie who sees visions of what is to come. And what is to come is dark and dangerous and puts everyone’s future at risk. Can she, with the help of the Gardians, avert this danger?
Effie is a great character. Small but she will not be told what to do, which leads to frustration for the men around her. Undeterred, as evidenced by the actions she uses to protect others and risk her own life. She always felt less than anyone because she had no powers but will find herself appreciated for what she sees.
Highly recommended (and the rest of the series too!)

Set aside a full, long day for this PG15 paranormal which picks up where the Chosen series left off, with 26-year-old Effie traveling to the Citadel, and I dare not say more due to spoilers.

Amazing start to this series!
WOW! This story is amazing, with fantastic characters and outstanding world building. It definitely drew me in and hooked me right from the start. Filled with action, suspense, thrills and intense adventure. I was captivated, enthralled and highly entertained. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the series turns out.
Definitely recommend.
Good book with a main character who has lost the ones she loves and has to learn to deal with a whole new fate not of her chosen while she adjusts.
Lot’s of action and wonderful characters
This was a great book. The characters are wonderful and each is unique. The book was full of action. Effie has a lot to learn. She is struggling with her premonitions. She has lost her first love and is still depressed. There is some minor sexual foreplay. There is some horror. I would recommend this book to those who like mystery, dragons, and action.
Meg Anne did an excellent job on this book. Effie is an amazing, down to Earth girl who has had to over come some much to be who she is, and her journey just doesn’t go easy on her. This book has a deep plot and twists you dont want to see coming.
This book blew my mind! I totally did not expect it to take the turns that it did. I thought i knew where it was going but it totally surprised me in the best way. That ending though (eek and ugh). Only thing i would change is, i wanted more backstory. However, Can’t wait to read the next in the series! I recommend this read.
all the ones she has loved are now all dead and she is taken to a place where her visions can be understood better. It gets worse when feelings she never expected to feel again resurface. Can she deal with the visions and the feelings? Can she save everyone? See if she can

Effie is a character that I loved in The Chosen series. We get to know more her a bit in that series, but I definitely wanted to know more. So I was very excited that she was going to be the main character in a new series I was very excited.
The Keeper’s Legacy is a great start to a new series and Meg Anne didn’t disappoint at all!! After reading The Dreamer, I was so excited to meet Kieran and hoped that he would be deserving for Effie after all she endured in The Chosen series. He’s definitely bookboyfriend material and didn’t disappoint either.
Effie needs to learn how her visions work and the setting in this book makes that very interesting. Add some amazing characters, humor, twists and turns you don’t see coming and keep you on the edge of your seat. The Keeper’s Legacy was a great start to Effie’s story and I can’t wait for more.
You don’t have to read The Chosen series to start this one, but I definitely recommend it! There is definitely some background information needed!
I’ve not read other books set in the Chosen universe used by Meg Anne in her The Keeper’s Legacy: A Chosen Novel (The Keepers Book 1). Luckily this doesn’t matter (at least as far as I can tell) as this novel works beautifully on a standalone basis as the first book in its own adult fantasy romance trilogy. Effie is a great leading character, strong but flawed and learning and growing during the course of the novel’s pages. Great stuff indeed. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review to my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises. The book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, and it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book in this series.
What a wonderful new addition to the Chosen series.
Effie is now a Seer, but she doesn’t know how to control or understand her visions. She needs to do both to help Helena and her Circle, so she follows the Keepers to their city. There she meets Kieran, her tutor, and Lucian and Kael, who are Guardians.
Effie is overwhelmed with everything that has happened and is happening to her. She has quite a few interesting adventures while she is finding her way. I’m interested to see what happens next and I loved their form of swearing, LOL!
I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.
Wow! What a great new series!!! You never know with spin-offs if it’ll be hit or miss! This ones a hit!! Great writing as always with Meg Anne!! flove Effie so hard what an awesome heroine!! Twists and turns!! I cannot wait until the next book!
Are Effie and Kieren meant to be together? The characters in this book were so unique and interesting. And the story was so exciting and fun. I couldn’t put it down until I finished! Great story!
