Now, in the twilight of his life, Anthony worries that he has not fully discharged his duty to reconcile all the lost things with their owners. As the end nears, he bequeaths his secret life’s mission to his unsuspecting assistant, Laura, leaving her his house and and all its lost treasures, including an irritable ghost.

As the dark cloud engulfing her lifts, Laura, accompanied by her new companions, sets out to realize Anthony’s last wish: reuniting his cherished lost objects with their owners.

I liked it but it was a little to slow for me.
At one point I almost stopped reading this one, but picked it back up and was so glad I did. Thoroughly enjoyable book, would recommend it to anyone who wanted to spend some time escaping from the everyday humdrum of life.
Very good
Purely enjoyable!
It’s beautiful! I found myself copying phrases to refer back to because they are so amazingly written!

Great reading & inspirational in looking out for & helping others.
Loved this charming book. Unusual. I highly recommend.
Ok predictable but pleasant
I really enjoyed this book, the story line is original and keeps you engaged.
Too disjointed with snippets of too many characters. Too many pages with too little action. Boring. Read 40% and deleted.
I loved this book.
Good read, a little slow to get to the heart of the story
Attention to a generation that is sometimes discarded…wonderful story
It was a lovely story with interesting characters. Many short stories woven into the main plot. Loved how they all connected.
The first 70% of this book was a 4 or 5 book but then things fell apart. I have not yet been able to finish it. Maybe later
The premise of this book is unique and a bit whimsical. Reuniting lost things with their owners becomes the work of a young heiress who wishes to honor the last directions of her benefactor and friend. The other characters intertwine to become an important part of the story. Loved it and am recommending for book club.
Well written, but strung me along a little too long.
Thank goodness for something refreshing to read. Not my usual
This book is not the easiest to follow but it is both funny and poignant.
The Keeper of Lost Things was different from any book I have read. I loved the stories within the story. The descriptions of places, people and things were compelling. The characters were genuine and well written. I look forward to recommending this wonderful tale to my book club.
