Hilarious. Sweet. Heartfelt.
Mia never felt the need to speak up for herself. Not with three protective sisters, an assertive boyfriend, and a bestie who has no problem stealing the attention for herself. With a nervous bladder (which strikes at the worst possible times) and a terrible fear of public speaking, Mia is comfortable with the way things are.
That is, until she comes home to find her things packed by the door and faces the news that her boyfriend and best friend have fallen in love.
Now homeless and anything but comfortable, Mia’s sisters come to the rescue (as usual) by helping her land the perfect apartment—but a colossal mishap lands gorgeous bad boy Logan Miller on her doorstep with a key and a lease contract of his own.
In exchange for a free month’s stay, Logan agrees to help Mia find the voice and confidence she now desperately craves. The goal? To finally stand up for herself and give her exes what they deserve.
It’s not revenge. It’s Karma.
Mia’s one rule: No matter how charming, funny, and sexy Logan is, she cannot fall in love with him.
Logan’s one rule: No matter how adorable, sweet, and sexy she is, Mia is off limits.
Are some rules made to be broken, or will Logan turn out to be exactly what everyone warns her he is—a player who will only break her heart in the end?
THE KARMA BOOK CLUB is the endearing and funny second installment in the Club Series. An unputdownable New Adult Romantic Comedy full of lol moments, lovable characters, strong female bonds, and redemption at its finest. Told in dual points of view.

I liked this book quite well. The characters grew, and the plot was not 100% predictable. While the context of live-in boyfriends and mindless selfishness and a bit of language make this not totally G-rated, in the main the book is clean and the characters become ones you’d like to know–show strength, humor, and loyalty. Recommend for many readers. Entertaining and even uplifting.
I LOVED this book! This is actually the 2nd book of a series, and I happened to read this one first. I’m SO glad I did, because I really loved both Logan and Mia, but this book is Logan’s redemptive arc from the 1st book. Reading this book first was nice because Logan was so sweet and endearing. You learn a lot more about him and his thoughts/decisions. When I went back to read the first book of the series, I didn’t hate him, because I now knew his whole story. The whole series is great, but I read the series in the order of 2,3,1, and I liked it best like that. Highly recommend!
A nice entertaining, easy read. Funnier than most rom-com books.
This book was cute. Yeah, yeah, not everyone likes the cute adjective. I liked that the 2 main male and female characters tried to be honest with him/herself, and admitted to stupid lack of judgement.
Great read and interesting perspectives on how people might deal with being bullied in all the various ways people are.
How can someone make up for doing something awful – and how long should that person be punished for the misdeed?
This book was an interesting mix of light romance and a very deep question – that of redemption and forgiveness.
The story starts as Mia finds out her boyfriend has been cheating on her, and that he’s basically kicked her out of her own apartment. Not one for theatrics, (and deep-down, faintly relieved that the romance is over), Mia finds another apartment right away and moves in…at the same time as someone else moves in. A mistake at the agency means the apartment has been rented out to two people – Mia and Logan. Mia is no pushover and she’s determined to have the apartment. She’s already lost a boyfriend, her apartment, and her favorite sofa – nothing is going to take this place away. Backed up by her three sisters, Mia rolls up her sleeves to fight, and finds herself charmed by Logan. She lets him stay until he finds a place of his own, and she settles down to get to know him and maybe fall in love again, because he’s so nice, cute and – and then she finds out the truth about him. And what he’s done. And her world falls apart once more, because she’s really fallen hard for him.
This was a terrific addition to the series, the author does a great job of making her characters come alive. I highly recommend it.
Logan, the inadvertent and reluctant ‘villian,’ from book one, is unaware that he is the hero now for Mia. Mia, shy doormat that always has to pee when she gets nervous, is in need of help but she ends up being a hero and a healer herself for Logan.
Karma sounds good to dish out but it never really brings true satisfaction, right? It certainly didn’t for Logan and he doesn’t want to see that kind of regret for Mia as well.
Super cute story with lots of fuzzy feelings. I’m so glad there’s more to this series. I can’t wait for what/who is next!
Clean nice to read book.original story. Enjoyed this book.
A quick, easy read that provides a good escape.
This story was a bit frustrating. The heroine didn’t really develop. He fought the attraction. They didn’t kiss or anything then they are in love? Though I still thought it was entertaining. And the ending was happy.
Very contrived situation to get boy and girl to meet cute. Sisters are so far over the top they are annoying. They also only have one characteristic each. (Maternal, bulldog, intelligent). “Oh, this is the one where they have a misunderstanding!”
Karma issues 101. We all should have a Karma book. Nice, simple romcom. Finished it in one sitting.
A fun, romantic comedy with just enough characters to keep it interesting. The author did not pad the book with a lot of fluff, just a good, clean story and totally relatable. Nice change of pace book that will make you laugh a lot and cry a little.
some language
Logan and Mia, through a series of unforeseen events end up as reluctant roommates. Mia has her sisters, who have her back. Logan is down to one friend – a tabloid scandal bed he made and now has to sleep in. But things are not always as they seem – and Mia and Logan form a strong friendship with chemistry to take it further. There were some laugh out loud moments, some really gritty true moments, and a great dynamics and hysterics among the sisters. I am looking forward to reading the book before this one and others in the series.
Liked the character development, and how each encouraged the other to be a better version of themselves. Sometimes you just need someone to believe in you to turn things around.
