Love is honorable but selfish. Love is a record of my wrongs.Love had fractured in trials but held on for the truth. And the truth was he’d hurt me, yet I loved him. He’d left me, yet I followed him.But I was done with Léo Baudin. And as soon as the semester was over, I would be done with Paris. But until then, I would learn the rest of his secrets. The ones they whispered about behind his back. The … secrets.
The ones they whispered about behind his back. The ones that had the entire city watching his every move. The ones that held him hostage.
But to know his secrets meant to know him. And to know him was to fall further for the man who’d already hurt me so much.
I hated him for breaking my heart, but I should’ve learned by now that the things we loathe become the things we love.
And just when I thought there was nothing left to keep us apart, the ghosts of his past came back to life with a truth neither of us could have expected.
And lies that neither of us could imagine.
As each layer unraveled, the choice between power and wisdom and love grew greater. And the consequences of our decision would be the judgment of this city.
But when all else fails, love always hopes.
Against all odds, love always perseveres.
The Judgment of Paris is the second book in the Odyssey Duet. It is necessary to read The Fall of Troy (Book 1) first.

Where do I even begin with this book?! Rebecca Sharp has done it again. I thought the Fall of Troy was absolutely amazing and the best books of hers I’d ever read. Well I was wrong, because the Judgement of Paris was in another world entirely. This book made me feel every single emotion. It was a such a whirlwind and roller coaster. It was absolutely perfect. I devoured this book. I did not want to put it down at all. Rebecca Sharp has a way of just sucking you in and keeping you captive throughout every single page. I have never highlighted as many passages in a book as I did in this one. Quote after quote just stuck with me or made my heart ache or just awwww. This is one series that will stay with me for the rest of my life. It’s beautiful and heartbreaking and just absolutely amazing. I will never not recommend these books.
THE JUDGMENT OF PARIS by Rebecca Sharp is book Two in The Odyssey Duet. This continues the story of Troian ‘Troy’ Milanovic and Professor Léo Baudin, so you really should read the first book ‘The Fall of Troy’ first.
In this book we see how strong Troy really is and we see how they start to working through their issues. Their story keeps you reading and looking to see what would be happening next.
Enjoyed their story.
A love story for the ages. I do not know where to even begin with this story. It is beautifully written and one that I never wanted to end. My heart ached and the emotions she put me through left me craving even more. The writing is flawless and the characters fit perfectly. A perfect ending to an amazing duet that you will not want to miss. A must read and one of the best duets of the year.
Rebecca Sharp NEVER fails to impress me with her poetic words and Spellbinding Stories.
The Judgement Of Paris is a Romantic EXTRAVAGANZA of Epic proportions and a heartwrenching, steamy, firey conclusion to the Odyssey Duet.
Once again Troy and Leo unfold before our eyes an Explosive, and beautifully tortured tale of a Love so strong and Powerful, not even distance could keep them apart, because fate had other plans.
Troy is granted to study abroad in Paris the home of her Professor ,Leo Baudin, the man who captured her heart, and broke it.But he had no choice but to leave as their tryst was going to be exposed,so he ran reluctantly back to Paris, where the ghosts of his past haunts him eveerywhere.
But their Love for one another cannot be kept down and like a volcano was just waiting to erupt once again and erupt it does.Spewing out consequences and attracting attention from an outside threat, they didnt’t expect that could destroy it all.
Set in the backdrop of the gorgeous city of Paris, this story is sensational,it has more drama, more steam, more fireworks and more of everything you could want in a scorching Hot Love affair between Teacher and Student.
Rebecca’s compelling words are outstanding you will not want to put it down even if you tried,it is compulsive reading,I Absolutely LOVED IT..One of the best duets I have ever read.
I highly recommend it.
The Judgment of Paris is the second book in the Odyssey Duet and it explodes with passion and angst.
The lust, hunger, devotion and yearning between Troy and Leo is palpable. I’ve never felt such an intense connection between two characters before. The passion between these two is so hot it’s panty melting. So intense its soul-searing. The devastation they feel is intense and real. Make no mistake this book will leave its mark.
I loved this couple and this duet. It was well written and the feels kept coming.
Although the sex scenes are hot, heavy and sexy, I found that it left no room for the story itself. This story ended up feeling like it was more sex driven than character driven.
I also had a difficult time with the history surrounding Leo’s wife, Amelie. I felt like it came out of left field and that it was put there simply to add drama.
Amelie, herself, is not the problem because we all knew something would arise with her. Rather the doom and gloom surrounding her family and who they are. It felt rushed, unexplored and like it didn’t belong. It made it feel like it was thrown in haphazardly. There was no real work up from book one about any of this.
Who is his ex-wife and her family, really? What does it have to do with this story?
Although Amelie’s family history left me with more questions than answers, the introduction to Quinton and the Valois has me all kinds of hopeful and excited that he will get his own book!
This is an overall astounding read that I recommend wholeheartedly!
I received an ARC of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I don’t even know where to begin with this review. There is just so much to this story and so many emotions that it evokes. I needed time to process it all when I was finished reading it. The Judgment of Paris by Rebecca Sharp is the second book in The Odyssey Duet series and what a series it is. You must read book one to fully grasp the story as a whole and to become immersed in these characters.
Leo and Troy’s story picks up where book one left off. It starts right away and it is off to the races from there. This story is non stop. There is just so much put into this one but the amazing thing is that it is perfectly written. You don’t feel overwhelmed. All the details, the connections and the side stories get wrapped up, just as well as their story does.
Our story shifts to Paris, the ironic part is that is called the City of Love and as Troy arrives, she is nothing but heartbroken and miserable.
“Love is honorable but selfish. Love is a record of my wrongs. Love had fractured in trials but held on for the truth.”
BUT:
“But when all else fails, love always hopes.
Against all odds, love always perseveres. “
I can’t put into words how amazing this story is. It should be a must read on your list.
I’ve read some good books recently, but wow, I’m now in a daze. This book is an epic masterpiece that consumed me with the love, heartbreak and passion, and is my top read of 2019 so far.
It’s book two in the Odyssey Duet and book one must be read before this one, and picks right up where book one left us.
Leo, I love him! I don’t think I’ve read a hero that’s been so open with his love. His love for Troy was who he was. He melted my heart with his words and I swooned so bad at times with just who he was.
“You could break my heart into a million pieces or in two, but when it heals, the only person it will ever beat for is you.”
Troy, although their age difference, has a strong head on her shoulders. She’s written with such maturity with no bratty qualities some authors give the younger heroine in an age-gap romance. She’s level headed, makes hard decisions based on all factors and rarely puts herself first when making these decisions, regardless of the pain it will cause.
The story was a rollercoaster of twists and turns, hard decisions, raw passion and so engaging I could not put it down and devoured every word written. I did not want it to end and could read about this pair forever.
Sharp is a new author to me and I’m now desperate to read her other works and has now become a one-click author to me.
I urge everyone to start this duet today! You will not be disappointed!

After Leo’s sudden departure it has left Troian devastated. The light at the end of the tunnel is when she finds out she has been accepted to transfer her studies to Paris good or bad is it too late?
Leo has no idea how the woman he left behind will deal with his departure she was his heart his life.
An unwelcome appearance and interference make things even more difficult.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
“All that anger, all that loathing, this was what it covered: a heart that was so bruised and broken it thought it didn’t deserve to beat, much less be loved. But then aren’t the most beautiful masterpieces the ones of the broken?”
If this is true then Leo and Troian’s story is the most stunning piece of art I have ever seen.
Rebecca Sharp has once again delivered an angst filled, emotional journey of two broken lovers.
I may have sworn a few times at what the characters had to endure, I may have had to stop to process my feelings- there were a LOT.
My love for this duet is extreme, I devoured the extended epilogue immediately- and would happily read more if it was on offer.
These books are masterpieces, inside and out. If you are going to take a chance on any duet this year, I strongly suggest this one.
This is the 2nd part of this phenomenal duet, and I don’t even know where to start with this review. Firstly, this 2nd book tops the 1st one, which I honestly did not think would be possible! Leo and Troy’s relationship grows from strength to strength, as these two supports and heal each other. Bring in the ex wife, whose lies and deception cause havoc, will this be the end of any relationship between them? This is a beautifully written story which is the perfect conclusion of this tale, and had me totally enthralled throughout. I cannot wait to read more from this gifted author, whose work I always highly recommend for all.
OMG!! What an epic ending to such a wonderful book!
The story begins where it left off Troy with a broken heart and Leo back in Paris.
This book was so emotional that it took me a couple days to read it. I cried because I felt for Troy a broken heart is hard to get over! Now she’s in Paris finding her way back to Leo.
Will Leo and Troy get their happily ever after or will Leo’s past come back to haunt them?
Firstly, if you are wanting to read this, you must start with The Fall Of Troy (Book 1) to get an understanding of this book and the characters.
Well, where do I begin? What a conclusion to what started as an epic love story. Leo and Troy were one of kind. I thought book 1 was intense, amazing, and could not be topped. I was wrong… So very wrong. The conclusion to Troy and Leo’s story had my head spinning, my emotions on overdrive. A lot of secrets were bought to the light, a lot of things were uncovered, and some hard truths were acknowledged. People’s true color shined bright, and things I never expected happened and threw me through so many plot twists.
I loved these two from the beginning. I can’t explain exactly why, but I was drawn to them and I became invested in the storyline so much. It consumed me. I can’t really go into much detail without giving too much away. But this conclusion was nothing less than perfect for these two, it was passionate, it was deep, it was intense as hell, and it was raw. It hit all the feels, and then intensified 10 times over. These two haven’t had an easy beginning to start with, they are no fairytale beginning or end. Crossing paths time and time again, which ultimately brought them closer, but also had them and the world around them spinning each and every way…
Will their love conquer all? or will it come crumbling down before them?
I’m not diving in any deeper. This story is too epic to give even the slightest details away. All I will say is be prepared for your heartstrings to be played like an instrument, be prepared for an emotional, raw, and intense ride, and expected the unexpected!
This author has a way with her words, they were beautifully written, and it was easy to fall deeply into this plot. It was smooth, yet intense.. It was pure perfection… And Rebecca Sharp will be an author I will continue to read now.
5 stars!
The Judgment of Paris , the second and final book of Odyssey Duet by Rebecca Sharp was a timeless, poignant and elegant story of poetic love. It was a lazy stroll through a gallery or listening to the most beautiful orchestra where your senses will be engaged, stimulated and satisfied. But it was a violent battle field at the same time. The messy, intense, heartbreaking , chaotic and angsty emotions collide , clash, destroy and resurrect. The love, lust, passion and need permeated my heart, broke it into tiny pieces and then healed it in an impossible way.
Troy and Leo’s story is one of those epic, unforgettable and out of this world love stories those mark you forever. This review was very easy as it deserves 50 stars easily but also difficult because I am at loss of words. The forbidden age gap teacher-student romance is so much more. Troy is a mass of anger, need and longing after Leo Baudin, her enigmatic Professor has left suddenly. And just when she was coming together, she had to go to Paris to complete her abroad study programme. Which was once a dream becomes nightmare. Because Leo is there. Like a moth attracted to flame, she deliberately put herself in his path only to find out her senseless, all consuming and maddening feelings are reciprocated by Leo too. Two shattered and damned souls crash and fuse and celebrate till the darkness from Leo’s past resurfaces. Now they have to make a choice. But what if love is the only choice they should make?
This connection between Leo and Troy is absolutely stunning and unique. It’s so difficult to express. It’s like their despair, desperation, passion and love creeps into my heart and engulfs it. I can feel every heart-rending, devastating , aching and soul numbing emotion. Every touch, every kiss, every word is branded in my heart forever. Rebecca Sharp’s prose is more like poetry which flows effortlessly and drowns all the noise so that all I can feel is the deep words. I could highlight the whole book because it was a piece of art. A well choreographed ballet. A spontaneous adventure. A mixture of both. A beautifully traumatic love story.
The Judgment of Paris by Rebecca Sharp wrecked me, consumed and stole my breath away. The writing was simply genius. The story hurt like hell yet feel like heaven. An unforgettable masterpiece. A sensational, seductive and enthralling creation.

The Odyssey Duet Book 2
What would you do for true love? That question is answered in a beautiful, loathsome, tragic and epic way with The Judgement of Paris.
This is the continuing story of Troy and Léo. It starts months after The Fall of Troy left us hanging.
The love and loathing between Troy and Léo is epic. The angst in this novel brought me to tears, multiple times. There is a scene in the Chappelle that was absolutely magical and has got to be one of the best romantic scenes I have ever read!
This story is brings you on a journey, of love and loss. Pain and redemption. It’s gonna take your heart, put it in a blender set on frappe. Then Dr. Sharp is going to put the pieces of your heart back together in a way that you can’t imagine.
Dr. Sharp creates a beautiful visual with her words, I could “see” myself in Paris, walking along with the characters.
Léo continues with his beastly attitude, which makes him even more worthy of Troy’s love. Troy’s strength throughout this story is a testament to her maturity despite her age.
You are going to fall hard for this duet!! Get your hands on it! Wrap yourself in this epic story!
The Judgement of Paris by Dr. Rebecca Sharp is the second book in the Odyssey Duet, and it is as much of a tragic tale as it is romantic. The main female character Troian originally is portrayed as weak and broken but in this story proves to be the strongest and bravest person in the story. The Judgement of Paris is a unique story and told by both Leo and Troian (Troy) and is beautifully descriptive about the city that is named in the title. With lots of twists and turns in this book I was never quite sure where the story was going and was pleasantly surprised and entertained with the turn of every page. 5-stars to The Judgement of Paris by Dr. Rebecca Sharp.
Leo Baudin broke Troian Milanovic heart when he left her and went back to Paris. Leo didn’t fight for Troy; he didn’t fight for their love and that broke Troy more than him leaving. Troy was not willing to give up on the one person that completed her, and when she was offered an opportunity to study abroad in Paris, she jumped at it. Knowing that Leo would be one of her professors Troy was determined to get him back. Just when things seem to be settling down for the brilliant professor and the rumors are no longer flying around about him Leo can’t help but feel that the shoe is about to drop, and he will once again face The Judgement of Paris. The choice of love, power or wisdom isn’t always the easiest to make. Leo learns that sometimes even when it’s your choice someone else ends up making it for you.
